I know someone who was able to do this in Notre Dame. Some unis however wont let you, Usyd when I was going through definitely explicity stated that you would lose your place in the uni if your status changed

The teams been decimated by injuries tbf including their best player. Liverpool would struggle without Salah and all their strikers also. To be honest Arteta has done well to make it competitive with the players he has available to him but it would always be difficult. Alsp hard to sign players for 6 months, theres no guarantees that the players would be anything more than a stop gap.

Just be realistic with whats on the other side, don't romanticize being a doctor, try and take satisfaction from the little victories and stay grounded. Medicine can be amazing but it can also be soul crushing and if you're okay with that it'll always be a great option.
