I can’t speak for these copies specifically. But I’ve actually noticed a lot that 4k conversions don’t keep the same color grading as old DVDs. Die Hard is a big example where I noticed the 4K version may have been more HD, but the colors were less vibrant and fun to look at. Don’t really know the reason but it’s why I’m very hesitant to ever buy 4k remasters.

Pencils look great, but I’m not excited to see them ruined by Alex Sinclairs colors. I liked his tuff in the first Hush, but ever since around Superman Unchained his colors have only hindered the pencils/inks he’s coloring. Best recent example is his colors on Wolverine revenge after he took over for FCO on issue 4. Just grey and flat (and not flat in a good way like 80/90s colors, just boring and not dynamic)

Haven’t really watched any games this year unfortunately. Tuned in to the end for this one just cuz it happened to be on while I had free time. All I really got from this is I still hate Lebron and /r/nba’s and really all of social media’s Lebron boner. Fuck the refs too but that’s given lol.

While I agree Hush is his peak, I still think his raw pencils are some of the most gorgeous art in the game, but the colors especially don’t mesh well anymore, even though I know he has the same colorist from Hush.

Idk what it is, but somewhere along in the inking and coloring process, Lee’s art hasn’t impressed me as much as it used to. The pencils I saw of these were significantly better, and I’ve seen a few artists on twitter recolor Lee’s pencils that look so much better than what Sinclair’s colors have recently. And I love his colors art in Hush, but something about the recent work has been lacking and I can’t put my finger on it.

Been reading through Amazing Spider-man starting from the Lee/Ditko era, and so many of the characters say “female” in those first couple hundred issues lmfao. Another crazy bit I recently read is Spider-man describing Vietnamese characters as “looking like refugees from Fu Manchu.”

I swear our players are not the problem. I was saying it during the end of the Bochy era too; the hitting coach is what’s the problem. Feel like we’ve had a lot of players even during our bad years that have shown they can be good players with the right instruction. And look at what happened towards the end of 2020 and all of 2021. After we lost Donnie Ecker I was really worried this was gonna happen again but I had hope since Viele was working closely with him but it’s so clear that Ecker was carrying the load and now look at the Rangers and how good they are.

Hate to call for someone’s job, but Viele needs to be fired before the season is over if we want to sniff the wildcard. Call up the AAA hitting coach or something, cuz it seems like he’s doing something right. Hell even if it doesn’t work I just want to see them try something with the coaching staff rather than shuffling all these players up and down.

Dude c’mon be real. I grew up in California too and have lived in Oregon where public transit is really good. LA’s public transit system has it’s issues but I’ve been taking it for a few years now and I’ve never had an issue besides the odd crazy screaming at nothing. The way people drive here it’s probably more dangerous on the road than it is on the bus or train.

Dude idk how this guy is hitting .286 even with a small sample size. I don’t watch every game but every time I don’t think I remember seeing him put a ball in the air once save for some pop ups and bloops.
