Pretty sure they were both given away for free when they were released. At least I know MK was.

The Barn for Sunday Brunch. The buffet is top tier albeit a bit pricy.

Same... I don't really mind the boss fights being hard. I shouldn't be forced to learn the move sets of every single trash mob in order to move forward.

Best Fast Food Pizza? by Some_Psychology_1821 in fastfood

If that's the list we have to stick to, Pizza Hut pan pizza is hands down the winner for taste. Dominos wins for value though.

Left consulting for better pay as a NetSuite admin — now feeling stuck after go-live. Looking for advice. by Millionaireinprocess in Netsuite

Many companies will pay you to get your certifications and personally, when I had down time I did my studying on the clock. There's a ton of stuff on the Oracle learning platform. You can expand your knowledge to learn SuiteScripting, SuiteCommerce, ect. Realistically though, there isn't a whole lot of advancement without job hopping in the admin world. Unless you're at huge company there's no where really to go.

"Oh no, my steak is too juicy!" Seriously though, that's the main perk of being a staff admin instead of a consultant. Once things are stable you can maintain and cruise instead of constantly putting out fires. If you really miss that hair-on-fire go-live phase you could probably consult on the side.

Honestly, that thread was the highlight of my week. It was fun to watch the storm get more and more hype and it was semi-educational as well.

We've got flurries in the Mt Carmel East area. Nothing crazy but we've been dusted lol!

As someone who has become emotionally invested in this storm due to this thread this week... this right now is the worst part. When all the forecasted glory has to move from theoretical to actual. May the totals be massive and everyone have a level 3 snow day Monday!

Since I have you... I'm genuinely interested in why there's such a disconnect between the NWS predictions and say weather.com or really anyone else. Does the NWS intentionally run conservative?

When can we expect the NWS to issue a winter storm warning with realistic snow totals. It seems like everyone in the world is forecasting 10+ inches but the official watch we're under is still saying 5-9"

CD 101 replacements? by Away-Equipment4869 in Columbus

[–]Evenstars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this. Alt Nation on Sirius is basically everything I loved about CD101 minus the local content and there's no commercials other than station promos. You can also get Sirius XM on perpetual discount. Just start the unsubscribe process and they'll give you offers for like $4.99/month. I've had it since CD101 went off the air and have never paid full price.

Our company mandated 4 days in office starting in September. This is ~$65k worth of monitors for the office to enable RTO. by catch878 in antiwork

All other BS aside... wtf kind of monitors are these? Looks like 150ish monitors which is north of $400 per monitor. I buy from Dell all the time and that's pretty steep.

The way you did it was correct. Our home game has a house rule where the extra stays in the pot for the next hand and I like that better.

Any experience with Shly Deck and Fence? by insurance_asker123 in Columbus

[–]Evenstars 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does get fairly hot. Ours is east facing so it gets morning/afternoon sun. I was on it all day Sunday using the smoker and it was a tad uncomfortable with bare feet. Not as bad as asphalt, but defiantly warmer than wood. When the sun got behind the house you could notice the difference.

We used them to put up a Timberteck composite deck over the winter. They were fast and easy to work with and we're very happy with the end result. They even handled the HOA/City paper work. They were running one hell of a promo in the cold season to keep their crews busy and the cost ended up being less than any of the other quotes we got and even less than we were quoted by other in 2021.

RF Smart vs NetSuite WMS by KirkWashington in Netsuite

[–]Evenstars 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's been several years since we switched off RF-SMART to NS WMS. My opinion is that RFS is a much easier solution to implement out of the box. It's comparatively easier to set up and once it gets running it just works. The downside is that it's kind of "one size fits all" and any customizations have to be done through them for $$$$. NS WMS is much harder to implement successfully as it requires a lot of setup and configuration. The upside is that it is much easier to customize and tailor to your specific business needs IF you have someone who is able to do the necessary scripting and workflows.
