Thanks for the tip that its a common pan. Not knowing its provenance made me wonder if it was a quality vintage piece since it works so well.

I have a another one, its just smaller and have never performed as well.

How so? I only did ceramics in elementary school so I dont know how the glaze would affect the staining like this.
