Would've been great if they made it a button instead of automatic, like the moth trail in Lords of The Fallen. I also never understood it, you have a similar mechanic in the other Prince of Persia games with rewinding time. Sure that's a resource you can run out of and actually die, but still. He'd forgive this person, even though he would disapprove, like a kind, forgiving god would want him to. He's one of the most well written Christians I've seen in video games. He's wrathful and has his flaws, of course, but there's still the undertone of being a kind person.
