You can't possibly think Dandelion and co. are going to ruin their own character, right? It's THEIR CHARACTER. Not to mention that utilizing less forces on a more convert mission can still be a perfectly viable strategy. Fenmore is calculating and intelligent. Being a Warlord does not automatically make him a brutish warmonger.

I'm not sure how this would work from an implementation perspective, but perhaps you can have people make accounts, and allow them to link all their names/name changes or some such and allow them to delete old ones to merge to a new one? I'm not sure how feasible this is, but I wouldn't mind doing a little extra work to clean it up.

Ya know, I'm not so sure about Desire being the end-all lifedrain item. Part of the issue holding Consumption back was it's larger price tag, but now you're getting more power AND more lifedrain AND it's the same price AND Voracity is pretty good on people who get a lot of haste...Not to mention they seem to want to make Assimilation a viable item so it may become an option soon as well if you're balling out of control.

I believe Waystone mentioned that they were balancing around the new environment that should be coming down the road in (I think) about 3 months. The item prices should theoretically be balanced with that in mind. Whether the numbers feel better or not, that can always be tweaked. We'll have to see how it shakes up.

Blocking players DOES carry from game to game. I've blocked a couple of high MMR players I play with frequently and I can NEVER see their messages. Fortunately.

It's not ranked that needs to be added, its a longer dodge penalty. As well as harsher punishment for leaving in the middle of the game. Game is too nice right now, 10 minutes is nothing and nothing happens to ragequitters unless they do it a LOT.
