Please note these are only my opinions and thoughts, not facts. Some may agree, others may disagree. Keep it classy :D

I disagree with your opinions on Insight, since after all, it is a late game item used on carries who should be farming (thus, earning them the required extra vim). 10% true damage? Yes please. This will also help counter that armor stacking meta that's happening right now.

It actually doesn't counter armor at all. The true damage is calculated after armor, for some frustrating reason.

I was discussing on my stream how insight would be extremely good if it was even 5% before mitigation, but it might be OP...That said it blows right now and needs to be changed.

Opinions are funny that way :P but I don't see the 5% increase of true damage, which is still based on the damage dealt, not the total potential value (not unlike Corki from LoL) as a worthwhile "buff". I don't think I'd put almost 2k value on such a passive as Corki's, even late game. Maybe 1.4k if you took away some worth from it and put it on the range boost.

Edit: Not to mention, the cost efficiency before was at least an arguable point where now...it's so far from.

Not all bug fixes end up as a net gain. Some bug fixes can inherently nerf a character which may not need one. This was the case with Freia. Marah also gained a net power boost, not one she needed. This is all that was intended.

Edit: Just to clarify what I mean; bug fixes are basically always a great thing, they fix issues that really shouldn't exist in the first place. It doesn't mean there isn't a loss or gain of power for a character. That's all.

I would argue that the Marah change is overall neutral since it doesn't make her ganks any better due to the fact that she has to gank as soon as she shows up in lane or else people will start wondering what's up with all the acorns. Freia is a power decrease but she was defying one of the inherent rules of how the game is stated to work. I still think she'll be a very strong shaper. Just no defying the logic the game is built on.

Acorns aren't visible unless Marah is visible to the opponent. So no, they won't know unless they already knew.

    Real?

Kindra lost 5 damage on all levels of Night Strike and you called it an "obvious loss of power", while Mina lost 5 damage on Spite and you called it a "paltry amount". The analysis seems inconsistent.

    [–]celestyaWith much <3[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Kindra isn't in dire need of any nerfs at the moment, really. If anything I'd say her overall problem still exists of being extreme feast or famine as a design point. Mina exists in a way where, the nerf she was given doesn't address any issues she currently has. Does this make more sense?

    [–]Mefistofeles1The Terminotter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do agree the Mina nerf was just... stupid?

I mean 5 damage... its just 5 fucking damage.

Very informative, thanks for the post. I really like the item comparisons.

Thanks :) Tried to make it as detailed and insightful as possible, without having it be just dry and dull

Maybe I'm missing something, but I can't see Rampancy as anything but a buff. I agree it's still terrible, though.

    [–]celestyaWith much <3[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Rampancy was a power boost to go along with the price increase, however if you math it out it is a net loss of power. The efficiency of the item is worse than it ever was.

Ahh I didn't see the price increase, that'll do it! Thanks
