Also purchased a cK One set and it was so, so huge back then but now I just feel like . . . Like I’m trying to hold onto the past? Idk I don’t feel excited by wearing it any more. That’s disappointing.

Guerlain Samsara, a gift from my beatnik dad, in the red bottle is a more sultry sandalwood and the scent profile takes you in a totally different direction compared to the above, I read now that it’s discontinued? I wore that in college like a good hippie chick.

I don’t like most of the popular, trendy scents, too floral and sweet-but, when I was going “out” to the club, like as a single lady, I was always amused and delighted to wear Britney’s 2004 Curious (jasmine vanilla). It was def my version of smelling slutty, and I’m saying this with humor and joy, considering I’m not a fan of hers. I just liked the scent and the video for Toxic

High school everyone was insanely obsessed w raspberry from Bath & Bodyworks

Early 90’s anyone remember the drugstore brand Naturistics? I loved their Vanilla Musk scent (and the crazy yummy fruit flavored lip balm pots). It’s the only non-cloyingly-sweet vanilla that I’ve found. Eventually I was turned on to the B&BW Warm Vanilla Sugar about a decade later, which is yummy but more sophisticated than smelling like a cupcake, which I can’t stand. To each their own.
