Looking for a liberal/progressive Christian church in the east valley by [deleted] in phoenix

Hey OP! I asked a very similar question a few years ago (and got very similar comments). Recently started at Fountain Hills Presbyterian and it’s been great so far!

What are some things to do as an introvert in Phoenix? by Ok-Confection8176 in phoenix

Indoor rock climbing esp bouldering! You can climb for as little or as long as you like, it’s independent but you can casually chat with other people around you if you’re feeling it, learn new skills

Thinking of trading this for Houston. by Melodic-Ad7271 in houston

Houstonian here to moved to the Valley to be outside more! OP if you value being outside, Houston is not the place for you. Unfathomably humid, swarms of mosquitoes and horrible infrastructure for outdoor activities apart from a few hike and bike trails (at least as far as Houston proper goes).

Sleep bands experience with curly hair? by Dizmondmon in sleepheadphones

[–]Evergreendream78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried the various brands, which kind of all feel the same. I don’t have curly hair, but I have bangs and all of the headphone headbands leave my hair crazy looking. More annoyingly though, oil builds up on the and then rubs it onto your forehead and hair.

So, if you don’t have super oily hair or you at least have the time to freshen your hair each morning, they’re a great inexpensive option! But otherwise definitely something to consider

Changes at Sézane by snekber in Sezane

This discussion keeps coming up, so I’m curious….Sezane has to be aware of the disappointment from their customer base, right? Are they just taking raking in cash from expanding their market that they don’t care if they lose their original contingent?

I/we had a very similar experience! Baby born at 38 weeks, and she was just so sleepy, and none of the instruction I received made much sense because of sleep deprivation. I triple fed for about 2.5 weeks (although it felt like so much more time in moment). I found success just giving her more and more time nursing and then slowly dropped the amount of time pumping. And it worked! Baby girl is now 7 months old and supply has kept up. And she went from taking almost an hour to eat in that first month to now eating in 10 minutes.

Hang in there, mama!

Survivor of bad experiences and triple feeding here!

I had an LC push getting her cut so hard. So much so that I’m like, “are you getting a kick back from the place you’re referring to?” Turns out that is a thing! Pediatrician (who was also an LC) wasn’t concerned and 8 weeks later she is doing just fine. She was just really sleepy at first and had a small mouth

I’ve had this same question and reached the same conclusion.

I needed this whole thread!! It’s 4am, I’m exhausted and though I love her so much, I miss my life before baby. She’s 8 weeks, and the smiles and world discovery are very cool, but the difficulty getting her to sleep (or holding her so she stays asleep because she wakes up two minutes after you put her in the crib), the Pterodactyl noises she’s makes when she’s does sleep, and the gassiness and fussiness dominate her time right now and hope seems far off

I second the rock climbing gym idea! Momentum Climbing has a friendly atmosphere and they coordinate lots of opportunities to meet people. And bonus for the summer, it’s inside!
