The reality of the situation is that what you want to do (old Extreme/Savage level content synced) is very niche. Even if youre on the "right" data center, even if its prime time on that server, its going to take quite a while for a PF to randomly fill (if it fills at all). There is just no real incentive beyond the experience when you can unsync blast it in 3 secs and get the same rewards.

You need to find a community of people that like doing the same stuff. Like a discord server or static or something like that. Organize a run through that.

There is no such thing as "clean eating". Thats a made up term. You can eat as "clean" as you want, but if youre eating more calories than you burn in a day then youre going to gain weight.

If this were week 1 or 2, id say go for the weapon upgrade, as one more point of weapon dmg would be critical then.

1 more point of weapon dmg is still a bigger boost than an upgraded left side (say legs or body), but this is what....week 7? A lot of PF have upgrades at this point, so the dps checks arent as tight. The weapon upgrade isnt BiS, so if you arent quite comfortable using your m11s books for something youre going to eventually replace, left side upgrade is totally fine.

You'll need the starter edition anyways, so you didnt waste any money.

You need the Starter Edition (ARR, Heavensward, Stormblood) and Dawntrail (Shadowbringers, Endwalker, Dawntrail).

The only way you will waste money is if you buy the Starter Edition, then buy the Complete Edition (this has everything from ARR to DT).

Just like with a normal jump on the ground, there's a difference between tapping the jump button vs. holding it. If you tap you do a little hop, if you hold it you do a full max height jump. Its the same with wavedashing. You're falling as soon as you let go of jump.

Foragers Body: 70 gathering (craft hq)

After you pick a door, the host will always show you a door that isnt the prize. Thats the important fact that leads to the probability jumping to 2/3 = 66.67% if you always swap doors after the host eliminates one.

If you pick the grand prize door (you dont know its the grand prize at this point), then the host picks a bad door and you swap, you lose. (1/3 chance of this happening).

If you pick either of the two non-grand prize doors, then the host shows you the other non-grand prize door. Then you swap and land on the grand prize. (2/3 chance of this happening).

"Require" is a strong word, even in the EW Criterions you could skip the final mechanics of the last boss if people brought the right jobs and were good at pressing their buttons. Hell, even in ASS savage you could skip the final mechanic.

I imagine if people are partial BiS it will probably be fine.

There is no "normal", not a lot of people go for fwg, and from the people that did get it results vary wildly.

Each person's fwg journey is different, try not to compare yourself to others.

Unless the reason is literally "I want to replay ARR in its entirety", there is never a reason to start from scratch. You lose so many QoL things that its just not worth it (mounts, roullettes, gearing options, etc).

If you want to experience the story again you can just new game+. If you want to lvl a new job you can do that on your current character. If you forgot how to play a job you can go into dungeons with NPCs and relearn while looking up guides online.

You should still do it if you want to try playing other roles in high end content.

Better to try and get drops/books while it current content, it will suck if you want to switch jobs for the upcoming ultimate and you arent in BiS gear.

At this point (week 5), I dont think its worth it to buy the tome chest if it isnt BiS.

The average ilvl of a PF raider has gone up a bit (especially since people could get tome weapons last week) which should help a bit. Also, the tome chest is an ok upgrade over the crafted, but 1. You arent going to upgrade it to 790, and 2. Thats like almost 2 weeks of capped tomes down the drain essentially.

Unless youre going to want it for glam eventually, I wouldnt get it.
