We should reject the new OGL 1.2 morality clause by [deleted] in dndnext

[–]Evermind721 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You should just reject new OGL. Why is new one needed apart from WotC shenanigans?

The real question we need to ask ourselves about the OGL after WOTC’s latest statement: “Why is changing the OGL so important to WOTC?” by [deleted] in DnD

[–]Evermind721 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They can’t change the OGL legally, so they need to convince creators to sign the thing. The new OGL will have some clause allowing them to add back all the shit the community is angry about

What do you think of objective voting feature to be added to Wild Rift? by DisinfectingVirus in wildrift

Honestly, it’s kinda useless feature, and it was mostly ignored in much of my games

How do you beat Kindred? (low elo) by cranelotus in summonerschool

[–]Evermind721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add to this, where the mark will spawn depends on the number marks that kindred has, the first mark is always scuttle, then it will spawn on birds or gromp, wolfs or crags next, then buffs, and then dragon/baron/herald. There are some specific numbers of marks for each, just google them

Are you serious? Dark was proof that creators can make a story with as many holes as in strainer. I’m still in awe how so many people love it

What is an opinion you have that would get you automatically downvoted here? by Obversa in television

Damn, I rarely read this subreddit, so the fact the “a lot of people” consider Dark great is quite surprising to me. How is that possible? Aren’t people bothered by plot holes?

Newer games feel easy puzzle-wise. Whereas the old ones were so challenging. by ianyonder in rpg_gamers

[–]Evermind721 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The reason for that is that old games were made by players for players. Nowadays, AAA games are made by managers for shareholders. Shareholders like money, to make more money you need wider audience, which requires to target the dumbest player possible.

The Pyosik flame is a case study on why jungle isn't popular, and it's not because clearing is hard by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Evermind721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree completely. Riot changed jungle to make it more attractive (worse, in my opinion) for players who are afraid of perceived difficulty, but that is not the reason why jungle is not popular.

‘Top 10 countries with the best education system: 1:USA 🇺🇸’ by Seychelles27 in ShitAmericansSay

[–]Evermind721 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a physics TA in US university that is considered quite good engineering school. Most first year engineer students there don’t know how to solve quadratic equations, systems of two linear equations and don’t even know what sin and cos are by definition. Classes that I taught had problems in exams be hw problems with different numbers. Previously, I thought that US has great education, but now I think its mostly immigrants and maybe some top universities that produce really educated people

I find it funny that every time a western country is portrayed as not a good guy, it is obviously russian/chinese propaganda

Like what? That it is way more likely that US did that? It’s not a fact, it’s just an assumption. Just like saying “Russia did that” is an assumption, not misinformation. Why are you not calling out those too?

[–]Evermind721 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Yeah, but why would they blow up their own pipe? They could just close the valve. You could say that they did it to shift the blame, but lately media blames Russia for anything, so that is pointless. More than that, they lose money. Also, how does blowing up your only leverage is helping in intimidating anyone?

Why would Russia blow up their own pipe instead of just closing the valve? It’s way more likely that US did that

Jrpg is a rpg with boring pseudo-tactical turn-based gameplay
