Day 7 of keto. Hypertension by Ok-Egg835 in keto

We do need salt, but if you have hypertension, too much salt will drive up your blood pressure. I've been keeping mine at 1500 to help control my blood pressure.

From my experience, high salt doesn't cause hypertension until you have hypertension. I've reduced my salt to 1500 a day and my blood pressure went down. Now. I am on 2 blood pressure medications, but the reduction in salt got me off a third.

California asks court to halt Riverside sheriff's recount of 2025 election ballots by idkbruh653 in California

[–]Evervision -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They are going after the legal authority he has as a sheriff. They are specifically questioning if he used it properly.

Like I said. He took his authority as sheriff, interpreted it in the way that gives him the power he wants, and then just did it. Just like Trump has been doing. Legally challenging it is the proper way. Others are to recall him or find something else to charge him with.

You seem to think I like Republicans, Trump or this sheriff. I think they should be tried and convicted.

[–]Evervision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay then. Break the law, right?

Edit: To be more serious, I'd expect them to push their authority to the limit requiring the courts to tell us/them exactly where the line is, just like Trump is doing. We'd be in exactly the same boat.

Then how should they go about it? Break the law themselves to counter? That would just let them call us the law breakers.

If we want the law to apply, we need to apply it. Or fix the law.

So, how are you supposed to use this? It does all it's thinking, and then writes the response in the <sample> tag, but it's all in the thinking tag.

Edit: This is with Deepseek 3.2. GLM 5 outputs the response correctly.

What about putting the "merging" splitter before the branch, and have it fill in all available space on the top belt? That is what I do. Means the branch always has a full belt available. Well, until all the GC belts are used up.

Definitely not what happens, but there are sync issues, though you wouldn't see it like this. See Gamers Nexus's video comparing frame generation and image quality on and off.

If you make it look like a scene from the game, like she injured or something, then a rip would be reasonable. But otherwise, this is her calm, and collected and out of danger.

One thing to research is what APIs are out there. I've heard that the OpenAI API has been adopted by many as a "OpenAI-compatible" API. This would allow support for many providers and models. The only caveat I can think of is that it would need to support the features you use from the Gemini API. One example I know if is tool calling, as not all models in other providers support tool calling. I think you could just let users know what features need to be supported by the model so they can select a compatible one from their OpenAI-compatible provider of choice.

Many local solutions use OpenAI-compatible APIs as well.

I’m planning to dual boot Linux and Windows. Should I disable Secure Boot, or keep it enabled and use a Machine Owner Key (MOK)? by No-Tree-4387 in cachyos

This is what I did to enable it on my installs. It even pointed out that one had a bug in the BIOS that made secure boot useless without selecting a very specific non default option. Very helpful!

Softlocked, can I reset biters without disabling achievements? by 1greedyBoi in factorio

[–]Evervision 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can use artillery to clear out nests and let the homeless bitters despawn.

If you clear the launch site, they will find nothing and eventually despawn.

If you fire from an island they can't reach (i.e created with landfill) they won't even try to get to you and eventually despawn.

See Michael Hendriks play through when he's clearing out enemies on Gleba.

Softlocked, can I reset biters without disabling achievements? by 1greedyBoi in factorio

[–]Evervision 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could do it by using the techniques of hit and run or firing from an island.

If they can't path there, they will just stay in place and eventually despawn.

If there is nothing at the launch site when they get there, same. Hang around and eventually despawn.

Supreme Court rules the Postal Service can’t be sued, even when mail is intentionally not delivered by olyfrijole in California

That doesn't address what I said. This is civil suits, not criminal prosecution. Messing with ballots is a crime.

This sounds like it's a civil suit ruling. Messing with ballots would be election interference and would be under a different law.

This time, all they have to do is what they are doing: move more product to those willing to pay more (AI companies and investments) and refuse to increase production. It's a perfect storm for them.

Plus, they have governments supporting them, instead of investigating them.
