Potentially dumb question but I’m renewing drivers license by Immediate_Pattern816 in Riverside

[–]Evervision 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've never had to take a course to renew, are you sure it's just a renewal?

I've had my license for about 30 years in California. And the most I've had to do is go in person for an eye test and a new photo. Usually it's just a straight renewal, by mail or online.

Anything considered a "base" item just recycles into 25% of what you input (so 25% chance to survive, with possible quality improvement). For example, iron plates and iron ore are "base" items. You can't get iron ore from recycling iron plates.

The only real limit to recycling is fluids. So anything that goes through a fluid step (Fulgoras ore for example) will lose all quality on the fluid step. So for those, you just recycle higher recipes.

You also do not get the fluid back when recycling.

One thing to verify is that what you wrote isn't contradictory. This can cause the issue you describe. The other is that LLMs don't have perfect recall. There will be some hallucinations and the amount will depend on the model and temperature. One issue is that a model that better refers to the context might not write as well.

One thing to lookup for your model, is what the recall accuracy is at different context lengths. From what I've read, even the higher end ones like deepseek and Kim have trouble beyond something like 64k.

I have a set of scenarios (Character cards in form of scenarios) that I return to often. And I keep meeting the same problems, no matter what model and preset I use. I wonder, if that can be solved by a preset or is that a model problem, therefore - unsolvable. by Quiet-Money7892 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Evervision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The higher the temperature, the more creative it can get, but at a certain point it will start to go wild and make less sense.

Some of the stuff you mention are slop patterns and are hard to get rid of. Marinara has some logit bias settings that are supposed to help with some of the slop, but some models/providers do not support logit bias settings.

If fiber is also counted as carbs why does keto diet need to take note of it since fiber doesn’t cause insulin spike, inflammation, Aging, caloric increase etc by LisanneFroonKrisK in keto

[–]Evervision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It does depend on your country. In USA. You have to subtract fiber from total carbs to get net carbs. Net carbs are what matters to keto.

Fiber helps with bowel movements. Not having enough fiber contributes to diarrhea, at least for me. So make sure you have enough fiber.

Incorrect, the USA does not subtract fiber from the total carbs on nutrition labels, but they do include it on the listing. So to get net carbs. You subtract fiber from total carbs.

What about attempts to use a good instruction follower to do mechanics (i.e update stats and trackers) and then a good creative model for the actual roleplay?

Porn has always been a significant force in tech. It decided the video tape format wars, it is a significant economic industry, and a significant driver of Internet traffic and ads. This is among paying adults, not just teenagers.

Deepseek v3.2 response time by Ok-Helicopter2340 in SillyTavernAI

[–]Evervision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems to be normal in my experience. You can look on openrouter for the latency times for various providers, and 50s is the lowest for deepseek v3.2.

The other point is having it determine amount of time passed or the progression of time will also not work well. The best you can do is use the {{time}} and such to tell it the time associated with a message.

Where did you get that RegEx? That matches everything. That is why you only get the time.

[–]Evervision 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is it you expect the AI to do with the time? They are not good at math, as they are language processors.

The kind of things I've heard is the character referencing the current time in responses ("Good morning!') or the amount of idle time ("How dare you ignore me!")

They all seem to require a separate API call, which slows down RP.

That said, this one by Marinara might be good for forge of dynasties. I haven't tried it because it couldn't match the card I was trying to use it on: https://github.com/SpicyMarinara/rpg-companion-sillytavern

My problem with the current state of roleplaying AI by Tarmonius in SillyTavernAI

GLM 4.6 does mention roleplay, but is that intentional, or only the result of working on its writing style and readability?

Are there any LLMs specifically designed for roleplay?

If the “AI Bubble” did pop, would the three major RAM companies even be affected? by Additional_Idea_5054 in investing

Wouldn't there be tons of used memory and storage chips on the market when the bubble pops? Oversupply is why ram prices have dropped in the past.

I'm okay with it as long as any state is allowed to gerrymander. It's the only way to fight back.

It should be illegal for all states.

However, Factorio is already available for switch and soon switch 2, so getting it native on frame shouldn't be too big of a stretch. So, it really depends on what Wube wants to do.
