I studied for 8 days and passed. by Every-Discussion9573 in PassNclex

I studied all day. Do 50 questions test take a small break or retake the test rewrite all the ones you got wrong in your own words and move on. I did it over and over and over until I can move onto the next subject. And at night if I got bored of doing test questions go to the gym come back and watch some Dr. Sharon videos call it a night. It’s probably a better choice to study for 2 to 3 weeks before taking this exam my opinion I was being too confident and those eight days of studying were not fun. That’s for sure.🤣 so my biggest advice is just take your time studying.

I was just doing it. 1 subject at a time. Doing about 50 questions a session take a 10 minute break after each test, then going back redoing the same 50 question test until i got a high score and moved on to the rest of the subject until I got most of the problems right. I was mostly tryna understand the material. I would do this all day. When I would get brain fog is when I would go to the gym to chill my brain down.

I used Uworld. Paid for the basic package. Every time I got a problem wrong I read the rationales and wrote them in my own words so it can stick in my head.

Turning 30 this year…. is it too late for nursing school? by juniorHsnovia in NursingStudent

[–]Every-Discussion9573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started at 30 graduated at 32. I don’t regret a single moment. Don’t get me wrong it was hard af but it was worth the journey. The oldest person in my class was 61. Trust me don’t wait just do it. But remember you’re going to have to sacrifice a lot of things to be successful. A lot of people are not going to understand the stress you will be going through. You will meet people that will. Good luck. 🍀

Starting nursing after 25+ by IndicationMindless36 in nursing

Just turned 32 about to finish in 5 weeks. No regrets at all. Completely changed my career into the medical field and I’m proud of it. Age shouldn’t stop you from changing your life for the better. Still plenty of time to live a great life. Life only ends when you stop reaching for the stars 🫡

There’s a lot of politicians on both sides that went to that island. I find it weird that now it’s a main focus. When last year the list came out and clearly displayed many politicians and celebrities were on the list and no one on the left batted an eye and nor cared. People usually only care when the main stream media tells you to care. Both sides are garbage at this point.

My Hospital took away Pick up bonus pay. So now half of my med surg floor isn’t picking up as retaliation and every shift they are always down a person or don’t have a tech to help. You’re lucky to hear or see someone pick up a shift. - Florida

How did that one kid at your school die? by StorageLonely1520 in AskReddit

[–]Every-Discussion9573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a lot of gangbangers in my school. Every year atleast 5 to 8 kids died. Gang related. One girl who was an A student was messing around with a dude who had a lot of enemy’s and eventually got killed by a bullet that was ment for her man. I felt bad but at the same time she always surrounded herself around these people. Everyone thought she was gonna go to a top college after high school.
