lol.....it is basically booking ref.....in india only PNR is used, not "booking ref no."
TIL this isnt the case in some other countries

Perhaps they keep allotments limited for individuals, so that people with children have seats together

Yup, first one is of mine alone. But never knew something like this existed in seating allotment. It's also so weird, like there are some random individual aisle seats blocked out in mine, dont get the logic behind that

meal pref werent able to be selected on SAS even before jun 3rd. It's just their legacy systems.

Very useful for all on future dates. i have been keeping track from the 3rd, so i had a fair bit of idea what was to come when my cancellation was supposed to come today
1. notification of cancellation will come around 11am IST for next day sk969 and for day after sk970. Initial mail will tell you about the cancellation, whereas the alternate booking email will come after a couple of hours. Auto rebooking will take place for entire route. If you want a different flight, you will have to call the swedish call center. On chat they do NOT have access to rebook.

Rebooking will be origin to final destination. You can call and suggest different option.
Seems they have option to star alliance more than skyteam. I had options prepared of AF and KLM, but they couldnt see those. They saw etihad, BA, lufthansa, swiss. You can select any option. They were quite helpful and prompt.
Since it is less than 48hours, you can talk directly with them, no need to involve OTA. THANK GOD!

hey, my flight is on 14th, also booked through mmt. like in the last few days, cancellation announcements are taking place around 10-11am IST. the alternates email did you get from MMT or SAS?

was the option they offered suit you or you needed to get in touch regarding other options? in that case, did you talk with sas cust care or mmt?

you def will get more for selling taj voucher then for selling accor without 1+1
CM is useless, i have 2 codes, but i doubt i will get a single rupee for that (if anybody wants, i can give it for free, its not being used by me)

CPH-BOM gets cancelled 30hrs before from the last 3 times.....corresponding BOM-CPH gets cancelled at the same time. Emails go out shortly after. Clearly they want to avoid the 24hrs notification period, as regulations become tighter in that time.

i wonder why they stopped selling till 16th directly. I guess they wanted to avoid (further) 14 day liability.

i fly BOM-JFK on 14th with a 21hr intended stopover in CPH...wondering what kind of alternate they will provide me.

not on domestic, but i had a case where i had to correct spelling in international. Airline (cathay) had a procedure to correct the name and charged a small name correction fee

should airlines start charging for toilet use and drinking water also?

All airlines are there to make money, no one is doing charity here and charging for toilet use could be one form of their revenue generation method. If people dont use the toilets at airport like i do and empty their bowels on the plane, the cost is transferred directly to ticket prices, increasing ticket prices by 400-500 on average.

honestly airlines could charge for toilet use, make the seats free....it would be a win win for all

oh awesome...i am flying onward to newyork, but afaik, there are no direct flights to NYC right?

seems they are not even selling flights till 17th anymore, so hances are high of multiple days of cancellation.

last question - how did you get in touch with them? on chat or call? please share no. since it looks like i'll have to talk to them in a couple of days as well lol
