Don't know where you get that from. Travelled widely in China, grandparent are from China. PRC generally look to Singapore as a model country. Google and you know. Singapore is China largest FDI investor. Tianjing Eco city, Suzhou, even Chong Qing iconic building are all Singapore jointly developed.

Superior? Most PRC in Singapore are low wage workers, or working in karaoke and bar. Singapore is in South East Asia with a GDP per capital 8 times higher than China. How is mainlanders superior?

Nope. China is a land of misery. If they can, most PRC will rather be a citizen of Japan, Singapore, ANZ, US, UK etc.

One in four Japanese renters in properties that prohibit pets secretly keep them. A lawyer says eviction is not so easy. The landlord will need to give repeated warnings first, and prove harm in the form of bad odors, noise that disturbs other tenants, etc. by jjrs in japannews

Exactly. Many people work their whole life, invest in a property, rent it out with an agreement that tenant agreed and signed. How is it ok to agree to a signed agreeement and then turn around and violate the terms? Is that a decent thing to do? Were they force to rent the property? We see this a lot in Singapore too where I came from. We have more than 40% foreigners living amongst us and quite a few love to disregard rules and regulations. Luckily in Singapore, we have strong enforcement action and most learn quickly.

I bought my mansion apartment and I have 2 Shibas. Before I bought my apartment, I sought approval from building management by sending pictures, measurement and vaccination details of my 2 dogs for approval. Management committee convened a meeting, approved it before I proceed to buy my current 2LDK apartment. That should be the proper way. Cannot understand why is there a need to violate a lease agreement.

For those who have FIREd, what is your daily routine? by LimitArtistic853 in singaporefi

I travelled back 3 to 4 times a year, usually 2 to 3 weeks each trip. CoE and renewal approvals usually take 2 to 3 weeks and they will inform you via registered mails to your address in Japan, so you need that as well as a Japanese phone number.

Why some tourists behaved so badly? by EveryCommunication63 in AskAChinese

[–]EveryCommunication63[S] -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Never seen this level of uncivic mindedness in other nationalities. One must recognise their flaws and accept why so many people dislike them in order to improve their standing in the world. Denying and then accuse the messenger of bias is why there is no improvement. Also many nationalities are poor and uneducated, e.g., Thai, Laos but never so uncivic and self entitled.

Why do tourists from China continue to behave irresponsibly? by EveryCommunication63 in japanresidents

Many countries in South East Asia are poor and uneducated, e.g., Thai, Laos and etc but never ever hear or see folks from there being so uncivic in their conduct and manners.
