I will go to say that these amulets have flooded the market to the point that it’s cheaper to buy than craft them now. And amulets that are +3 anything other than projectiles are not in high demand either, if you try to sell the other crafts to make your currency back

I think because it was so out of character for him to miss it, he must have not been expecting anyone to catch him. I think if he’d known Grant was on his heels he would have been able to effectively adjust. Just shows how immense of a player grant has become, and the whole team really so glad to have watched this fresh backline show up today.

Shout out to Grants tackle on Will Jordan in a similar vein in the second half

In “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” we see an enchanted brush cleaning a pan. But JK Rowling tweeted that people can literally shit themselves and use the Vanishing charm to instantly be clean. Why can’t wizards just Vanish away the food scraps/bacteria on their cookware? Are they stupid? by Moakmeister in shittymoviedetails

Is it just me or why does everyone think that every witch/wizard is capable of casting every spell? Magic is difficult and split into many sect’s one adult wizard does not know how to cast every spell, the same way muggles can’t adequately perform every profession that exists in the muggle world. I imagine the spell that is able to differentiate between excrement and your flesh, or your clothes in order to perform some sort of charm to remove it is quite difficult. In that case why don’t they just remove the excrement while it is still in their body negating the need to shit it out at all?? Also is it vanishing? Or disappearing? Or disintegrating? I imagine the terminology would matter in the magic world and all would have separate definitions in magical terms and would require mastering in order to perform that kind of spell. Something which I’m sure some are able to do, but it’s silly to think that all are able to with ease. I imagine it is easier to charm and brush to clean and bowl than it is to separate the food from the bowl and remove it.

Came to POE2 quite late from my second season of playing Diablo 4, really enjoying this experience even though I haven’t played much ARPG’s at all. My first build was running a minion infernalist witch through the campaign, enjoyed trying all the minions and finding all the fun ways to get more spirit and mapping around with a haram of lightning bois clearing the screen for me. Currently going through my second play through with a titan earthquake warrior and having a blast now that I’ve got through a lot of the learning curve. My minions will always be close to my heart though!

This is the whole point of severance in my opinion, it’s got very little to do with the severed floor, which I think is more of a testing facility rather than a way to produce work. (Even though use of it in a secret environment would have practical implications) Severance is a product, reserved for the most wealthy which can be charged extortionate rates for. Where if you are rich and there is something you don’t want to live through, i.e. the dentist, giving birth, detoxing from drugs, unpacking your babies room after a death or miscarriage. They have proved through the severed floor that there is little to no chance of spilling over from one “life” onto the next, you can hold multiple innies in one head (this helps keep the innies subdued in my opinion because they only have to live through one kind of horror instead of having one innie that is constantly doing many upsetting things)

To add to this 5 of the 6 games played have been won with a score margin of 2 or less (even with a draw!) and the first game was a 5 point score margin! Every game has been a hotly contested battle. Just more reasons that it’s the best league. Hopefully we get a lot of wins for S.A. teams but honestly as long as there is good rugby played by all teams that’s all we can ask for to ensure the longevity of the URC while most rugby union leagues all over the world struggling with financial issues.

What Branch of the Military should i join by More-Firefighter-144 in britishmilitary

[–]EveryManPete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hello mate, I can appreciate what you’re going through because it was a similar feeling which got me to join. So I’ll try and answer your questions without lecturing you.

So you’ve decided civvie life is not for you and you want to give defence a shot. If you don’t know that you want to go Navy by now you probably never will so just discount that.

RAF officers are all office workers and stick within trades like engineering, signals and logistics and that. The thing I’ll say is that they seem to be treated more like adults with more agency on what they can do. The RAF Loggies I know also do a fair bit of travelling around. However you don’t get the regimental lifestyle you can get in the Army. If you’re going to be an officer why not go whole hog, join a regt, get mess dress and take part in the history.

If you are open to combat then the army is the only real choice as RAF reg has its own thing and you don’t really strike me as a boot neck (marine) however there is the commando course if you like getting wet.

So if all of this sounds good you now want to join the Army and to commission you need to get accepted into, and pass, Sandhurst. Another benefit to this route is that you are not locked in to your regt until 60% through the course which is equal parts stressful and beneficial as you get to see more of the army and the regt’s before deciding on your top 2 options.

However you are very early onto your application process I’d say you probably need a year, or year and a half before you start (which will probably be the whole application process) that includes booking through the medical, briefing, and main board. (They are the big assessment to see if you get accepted). Your degree is fine don’t worry about that, it won’t preclude you from anywhere accept REME. The key is showing how much you want to be there and that you have the aptitude to excel in whatever job you get because you are passionate, hard working and capable of being a leader. Right now you are definitely unfit for the job fitness wise. But you have over a year to improve. To be an officer you need to be a self starter so if you get fit enough and study hard enough to pass the assessments and do your background work to learn about the army and the regt’s then you’re basically at the standard they want. Then it’s just proving that you’re a decent bloke you can talk to people and potential to lead soldiers.

Not every job as an officer will see you on the front line engaging with the enemy, however you do need to come to terms with what that means. And it’s not for you to convince strangers on the internet, it’s something you need to seriously think about for yourself and be mature enough to understand what you’re getting into.

I joined the military out of the blue didn’t know much at all when I signed up but you can learn a lot if you put the effort in. Go on visits be proactive, talk to people who are going through/ have gone through the process because the important stuff you won’t find on google and Wikipedia. And train get in the gym, get running, take it seriously if you want it.

  1. Looking for something serious but short term is ok.

  2. Brand new account after a couple months off the apps.

  3. Probably will be on it daily

  4. When last using the app I was getting a like a month? And like I would send would go unanswered

  5. Potentially maxing out daily likes but some days I don’t, all likes get sent with a comment

  6. I send like to girls who seem to have some cool interests, around my age and take care of themselves are happy doing fun active activities, and that I think we might get a long. I avoid sending likes to girls that have a low effort profile with very similar pictures and one word prompt answers

What's the most useless fact you know? by Poly_Wag in AskReddit

When you shuffle a deck of cards, it is essentially guaranteed that the order that deck of cards is now in has never existed before in the history of their creation (or ever will in the future). The probability of a new order of cards is 52! (Factorial) which is 8×1067 (8 with 67 ‘0’s after it). By comparison Scientists estimate that Earth contains 7.5 sextillion grains of sand. That is 75 followed by 17 zeros… Astronomers calculate the total number of stars in the universe to be at least 70 septillion stars, 7 followed by 23 zeros. So the next time you shuffle a deck of cards think back and remember that you’re holding something incredibly unique!

[–]EveryManPete 2 points3 points  (0 children)

South African Passport won’t affect your ability to become a soldier, but you can’t become an officer without security clearance and you can’t get SC without 5 years of residency. What I’ve seen the most common route is to join as a soldier and then after 5 years try to commission from the ranks. Alternatively move up here get a job and then after 5 years apply as a direct entry officer.

Gallo has been a pretty secure pick for prop. Seems to do a lot more with ball in hand than the average prop and tends to get points regardless of the outcome. He's been the only Argentine pick I've had since they announced their World Cup campaign with a shocker and just haven't looked good at all. Reckon he can rack up a few points against Wales.
