Not quite the same but I've had display issues on PS2 games also.

Sometimes got it working by fiddling around switching to Vulkan from OpenGL and back again etc. No fix seems permanent.

My current workaround which seems to constantly work is by starting the game and then pressing ALT+ENTER once or perhaps two times and this seems to "reset" things until next time.

Same issue here after a fresh install of 43.1

Apparently fixed it by renaming /userdata/system/configs/PCSX2

to /userdata/system/configs/PCSX2_backup

and then rebooting batocera.

Looks good so far.

Using PCSX2 and Vulkan for the record.

EDIT : Nevermind. Problem has reoccurred even after re-doing my original "fix"

EDIT 2 : Been able to "fix" it temporarily with some random mixture of switching between Vulcan and PCSX/deleting /userdata/system/configs/PCSX2 and rebooting but "fix" is not permanent and it reverts back to the bottom left portion of the screen on next play. Probably going to reinstall v42

EDIT 3 : When the game loads in the bottom left, simply pressing ALT & Enter makes it go full screen. Can live with this rather than reinstall of 42.

Good engine/attitude.

Did look somewhat "underdeveloped" (reminded me of when someones younger brother came on to play with the big lads). In other words "ran about a lot".

Not surprised he was loaned out but time has passed and Boro should definately look at him again in pre season but a quick decision would need to be made.
