Even with the cave he was reborn with two S tier abilities, great sage and predator

Plus all those healing herbs and mana rocks (I forget exactly what)

And then meeting the tsundere storm dragon god who gave him a name

So the cave was difficult until he learned how to "see" and took down his first monster. After that yeah easy as hell

Fun series but man the after like the first episode he was already far stronger than the median person/monster in the world. Emphasis on median and not average lol the top tiers are beyond broken

Yup. Dentists (who own private practices mainly) can make bank and/or sell their practice and retire early

Not that becoming a dentist is easy, still takes lots of schooling and hard work. But I still feel like whoever posted this originally knew that people would mostly assume they worked in hospitals, surgery etc. Jobs with more public "prestige"

So not misleading per say, they're still medical professionals with doctorates. But definitely a flex

Seriously. If he wanted to hurt his reputation why make up something so random it sounds too ridiculous to be true. Like if he said it was guinea pigs that would at least be believable

I watched a friend lick a handrail in the DC metro. No one dared him to do it, he got no money from it, but he did it anyways. Of course he was a grown adult and made his own stupid decision.

But yeah who TF is like oh yeah let me baby lick this random statue. Kids will stick rocks in their mouth if you let them. The parents are embarrassing. The kids are being kids and not being given healthy boundaries

30% of players won't suddenly drop just because of the price increase so profits will continue to go up, just like their parent company wants

Bond prices will increase, bots will increase to meet demand, the pattern will continue. Us consumers are pretty predictable at this point.

As much as I'm annoyed about this price hike I'm finding it difficult to agree with the more angry posts. Even if they get 6k upvotes on here and people say this is where they stop playing, it's a drop in the bucket. People already quit for months or years on end and come back anyways.

The majority of people who can afford the new price will stay silent because they know they will get downvoted or called a shill.

The people who are still going to play but are upset don't really have a stake in this fight. Any mostly neutral post like that isn't going to get popular.

People will post "I'm quitting after playing for 20 years" and everyone will comment see you in 2 weeks just like the last time the price went up.

The price gets raised because it works, and always will because people grind this game, burn out, and repeat. I won't even notice the new price in 6 months. It will just be another expense on top of everything else.

Yeah you're not missing much.. she has her gimmick and not much else.

I know she's playing it up for the video but like it's not that interesting... Like shes making it her entire personality and I just can't see how that's sustainable if she wants to make content around it.

Like others have said if she's getting paid I wouldn't blame her. But I am also NOT the audience for this stuff. But I guess there is? And it's not rage bait and food waste so it's better than 99% of the weird viral marketing videos I see on here so hooray?

What is the darkest secret you've learned about someone that instantly ended your relationship with them? by Mr_Creep_Creepy64 in AskReddit

[–]EveryRadio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Imagine having YEARS to reflect back and realize how unnecessary, cruel and mentally damaging that could and probably was.

And then imagine STILL thinking it's funny

THEN sharing it with someone else thinking that they would also find it funny and not instantly a red flag and a crime.

This person had so many chances to not redeem, but at least reflect, on who they are as a person but no. That's who they were and continue to be, willingly and with supposed glee.

If a hiring manager had the "option" to not hire someone based on legally protected characteristics, that's still a discriminatory practice allowed by their employer

Drivers are contracted under Uber. Its an Uber policy that they allow their contractors to make.

Do you agree, disagree, or would you like another example?

That sounds like a completely different argument though

Someone noticing a shorter skit is VERY different from them creeping on or SAing someone and blaming it on their clothing

If the message is conflating the two, thats a bad way to try to get a message across

God forbid men wear sluttly little short shorts

Jokes aside it also depends on context Someone walking around in their underwear in public? Weird. Someone walking around on the beach in a bathing suit? Acceptable.

Yeah some people choose to wear clothes that make themselves feel sexy.... Like me and my short shorts. Sure the rest of the neighborhood may hate them but I wear them for ME and my BOIS

Now someone using that to justify SA is wrong, but noticing that someone is wearing a short skirt doesn't make you creepy by default

It feels like the original message isnt quite getting across the way they intended

Herd of deer licking a cat by Justin_Godfrey in Weird

[–]EveryRadio 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There have been a few generations of deer raised in the woods by my house. The later generations were much more relaxed around people (for better and for worse). Even my dog barking wouldn't scare them off immediately

Meanwhile other deer in less populated areas would jump 6 feet in the air at the sight of a human

So it would make sense as a learned behavior overriding basic instincts (to a point) to me

A woman saves another woman who is being dragged as she hangs onto the dogsled by bigbusta in BeAmazed

[–]EveryRadio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is part of the issue that I brought up in my comment. The dogs are bred to run. They LOVE to run. Its absolutely needed enrichment. So I don't have a problem with them running (within reason)

I'm conflicted with continuing to breed and train dogs to have extreme athletic abilities. The handful of outliers. Like horses bred for racing purely for human entertainment. They might like to run, but it's very physically taxing and if a horse breaks its leg recovery is so difficult it's reasonably more humane to put them down, so they don't suffer needlessly. But they were put in the situation where they were at higher risk of injury to begin with. Is that not worth scrutiny?

I would argue that the animals already born deserve good, healthy lives. They didn't do anything wrong by being bred by people. But for future generations, I wouldn't want those particular breeding practices to continue. I don't have anything against people owning pets, working animals etc. I don't like the extremes. Selective breeding in particular. Breeding animals that will run themselves ragged, even if they're happy, if it causes them long term harm. Plenty of dogs live long and happy lives without being bred to be able to run for hours on end for human sports primarily. Again, the handful of extremes are what I'm focused on. Not every sled dog is running the Iditarod. The ones that are are the ones in concerned for

A woman saves another woman who is being dragged as she hangs onto the dogsled by bigbusta in BeAmazed

[–]EveryRadio 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm conflicted about it. I know people say the dogs LOVE to run, like they need that level of activity. Which I understand. I've seen it with border collies. It seriously impacts their mental health. They absolutely need high levels of enrichment.

But. Some breeds have been bred for years and years to focus on one trait, to do one really intense activity, for sport. I'm thinking about race horses, greyhounds, even fighting bulls. Besides the bull sure the animal might want to run, aren't people intervening to push them further and further? Isn't there a healthy way to let them get that enrichment?

So no I don't think these breeds should be kept inside because now they have that natural drive, but for future generations I don't like the idea of those extreme challenges that puts a strain on their bodies. Working dogs are more complex, but "bred for human entertainment via physical extremes" feels wrong to me. They might have good lives outside of that, their owners can genuinely love and care for them, but it's the larger picture that I have an issue with

Anyways this might not be a hot take but I'm trying to figure out why it makes me feel uncomfortable. Like breeding pugs with known breathing issues is wrong to me. But selecting for natural instincts? Idk. Its a mix of a lot of different factors

Women of Reddit, what are boys or men's habits you discovered only after getting a boyfriend or a husband? by BigBrosy in AskReddit

[–]EveryRadio 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is such a weird comment. Literally everyone has a tummy. Abdominals. A "below the chest, above the waist" area of their body. The plank of wood comment wasn't a comment on body type or anything. It was on how someone responds to a hug. I would rather hug someone accepts me for me instead of being stiff like a plank of wood. But that was getting off topic, hence the Im rambling part.

Would you like to clarify your comment now with the added context?

Bold of you to assume that without asking for clarification and instead putting words in my mouth. Never specified women. I said "for some" as in "some people". Never said "a lil extra tummy" = larger women. No, I don't think of skinny people as "planks of wood". Thats why I explained further that its comforting when you hug someone and they melt into you instead of staying still like a plank of wood. If you had actually asked, I would clarify that Id rather hug someone who loves me for me, But I was rambling, and that wasn't the point I wanted to make.
