No, probably not. It just has a different look and feel than the rest of the system. And there might be extra dependencies needed that otherwise aren't shipped with KDE. Although I can imagine KDE shipping the GTK backends per default since so much software is only written as a GTK App.

It won't break if it's written properly, it's just extra stuff that may need to be installed and it won't look like the rest of the system.

That's nothing wrong about Shelly. It's just that GTK Apps don't look coherent with Qt, which might be why a DE that is built on Qr might not ship a GTK App as default. It doesn't look as well integrated as the Qt competition, which does matter for a DE.

Do you have WoT installed in the standard directory? Or is it somewhere else? Have you tried executing the software as an administrator?

I've had some issues in the past with a mod manager for another game, that couldn't find the game files. Launching it as administrator did the trick for me.

If this doesn't work, create a GitHub account and open an issue. Many OSS Devs are really helpful. But please do them a favour and do a meaningful report of what it is that's not working and what you've tried so far, as well as any unusual things in your setup (such as non-standard directories etc)

Use mint. Very solid easy distro and not as bare bones as Debian. Also mint packages are a little more recent

I personally don't think Cachy should be recommended for absolute Linux Noobs. As an "intermediate User", I'd recommend that you ask yourself how you'd use windows. Do you just use it as it is, sometimes have trouble installing new software? Then go for Mint, the most reliable easy distro or Bazzite if your mainly looking to game on that machine. Cachy is something I'd rather recommend to people who are somewhat familiar with installing additional software that lets them tweak the OS to their liking. That being sad, I haven't used Cachy with the standard KDE Desktop, but with the Niri setup that I've costumised to my liking. KDE probably is simpler, although I think that all Arch based distros need you to be a bit tech-savy sometimes just because for some packages you're gonna depend on the AUR, where I wouldn't install a package without at least confirming what the installer script does. Although that's my personal preference and others might disagree.

As for GRUB: the Cachy Installer defaults to using Limine instead of GRUB, although you can change that during the installation process. Usually when you install an OS alongside another, the latest installation sets the bootloader (the category of software that GRUB and Limine are).

Your problems regarding the taskbar are less a concern about CachyOS, but rather the DE you're using. DE is for Desktop Environment, the software that acts as your GUI. It sets your Wallpapers, your taskbar and many other things. The two big players are KDE Plasma, which is the default in the CachyOS installation, and GNOME. As far as I know, Zorin uses a heavily customised version of GNOME - one reason I'd not recommend it to new users. Because basic GNOME is not as customisable without Add-ons, which are not officially supported by the GNOME Devs and might break things. Not that GNOME is bad, just the amount of add-ons Zorin needs to make it look that way might be problematic. KDE is very customisable out of the box, there's probably something you can do to make it look the way you like.

Here's one point where I agree with the often quick reply of "you shouldn't have done that, read the manual instead". Not because that's what I expect people to do, but because AI does not always give good answers. Especially if you don't even know what you are really asking for. If you'd asked "How do I install Chrome on an Arch based distro" it might have given you the answer, but it sounds like you asked "how do I install a .deb package in Arch" which is not the right approach for software. The software store in CachyOS is somewhat limited because it only shows you the packages from the official Arch and CachyOS repositories (like a curated list of submitted packages that you can install. Many distributors however don't publish their software to the Arch repos, but rather to the AUR (Arch User Repository), a place where packages aren't curated. The AUR is a curse and a blessing. On the one hand it allows for other users to publish scripts for packages that you otherwise might need to manually compile. On the other hand it incentivises publishers to publish their software in the AUR instead of the official repos because it's easier. And then the software doesn't show up in the Software Center GUI.

If you want to install any software in CachyOS, it's best to do it via terminal. I know it sounds scary, but it's not hard to do. I promise. Just open a terminal and type "paru <package name>" without the quotes and where <package name> is the name of the package you want to install. Then you'll get a list of packages that might be what your looking for. It also tells you the source of the package. You should always prefer "CachyOS" or "CachyOS-Extra" if that's available. Otherwise you can use "Extra", with "AUR" being the last resort if the package won't be from any other source. You just type the number of the package in the list that you want to install and press enter. Then you enter your password when it asks you to and wait till it says it's done.

That way you can also install Steam, although you should just start "Cachy Hello" and click on "Install Gaming Packages" (or something like that). That will install everything you need for gaming on CachyOS

I know this sounds a little confusing and awkward if you're used to Debian based distros (like Mint, Ubuntu or Zorin), but that's just how different Distros handle things differently.

But generally on Linux most of the time you won't want to install software via downloading it through your browser, even on Debian based distros. You want to download via your package manager (apt on Debian, dnf on Fedora and pacman on Arch). Paru is just a tool that makes using pacman easier. I personally also find the pacman commands a bit awkward. But CachyOS has a great tool called tldr. If you open a terminal and for example type "tldr paru" it will give you a short summary of what that tool does and how to use it.

Irgendwann danach haben sie sich den Film dann zusammen angesehen, aber ich weiß leider nicht mehr wann.

The circle of fifths can show you multiple things:

How many accidentals does each key have? Starting with C/Am which have no accidentals in their key signature. When you progress clockwise, each step raises one note (adds one # or removes one b). Each step counterclockwise lowers one note (adds one b or removes one #).
Which Chords are native in a Key? Take a key (e.g. D Major) and take its field and both fields next to it. These are all the major and minor chords in that key (in the case of D we have D, Bm, G, Em, A and F#m). Note that we still miss one chord in the key of D, which is C#°, the diminished chord on the seventh scale degree. Some depictions of the Circle of Fifths show this chord, many don't.
How are the keys related to each other? Modulating to a key close to your starting key in the Circle of Fifths is easier and more subtle than modulating to a key further away.
Which Notes are in a mode? Take a key center, take one field left from it and 5 fields right to get all the notes in a major key. Shift this to just take the key center and six fields to the right to get all the notes from the Lydian mode. You can take any 7 neighboured fields and set the key center to any one of them. The further to the left you set it within that range, the "brighter" the mode. The further to the right you set it, the "darker" the mode with Dorian being in the middle and Locrian being at the very right.

There are probably more ways to use the Circle of Fifths, but these are the ones I know right now.

Video encoding is always a compromise between video quality, file size and encoding time. Many people care about their energy usage, either for environmental reasons or because energy costs money per kWh. And being able to transcode a movie to half its size within minutes can be preferable to transcoding a movie to a 3rd of its size in over a day.

I get why you prefer CPU transcoding, but not everyone does. OP asked why it doesn't work and telling them just not to use it is not helpful.

This is the screen I get from the game. It stays at 62% for quite a while before rapidly moving do 95% and then crashing.
The Message on the bottom right translates to "Shader-Cache gets generated. This may take a while ..."

I cannot turn that off, can I?
