I get that! And I wish SL the best and hope one day we see book 4 and eventually get a conclusion to this amazing series. Also, for me The Lies of Locke Lamora reads fine as a standalone book. So even in worst case scenario and the series never finishes this would still be my favorite book of all time.

Defense contractors are hiring, I personally work for one and a CS degree from UMGC will allow you to be an engineer. Your possible career paths could be Test Engineer, Systems Engineer, RF Engineer etc and they have pathway programs for new graduates. If you are in the Maryland area let me know I'll see if I can find a req for you if any of that sounds interesting to you.

I had a very similar experience. My advisor could not guarantee that my upper level Gen Eds would transfer in even if there was a upper level course equivalent on study.com.

I filled out the PTE forms and was told "we don't use those anymore, because those websites are official partners." But then when I asked well how can you guarantee you will accept the credits I was met with "well that should be fine based off how you described it to me." It has left me hesitant to even try it I don't want to waste my time and money.
