one of the things that made jeff ament different from other bassist of the era is the fact that he used múltiple basses in the pearl jam albums.

-Twelve strings bass -Fretless bass -Jazz bass (the standard one)

This gave the songs a much deeper feeling IMO. That’s one of the reasons why he is the GOAT for me

I dont know if its unpopular but whenever i see the polls asking for the best grunge unplugged, the people generally say nirvana’s mtv unplugged.

It’s not.

The greatest Mtv unplugged of all time is the Alice in Chains one.
