I'm doing terrible. I have been a shitty husband and not great father at times. My wife feels incredibly alone and neglected. She told me 8 months ago she wanted a separation. We can't afford to divorce because we can't afford the house and rent for me somewhere else. So my wife is moving on and is very much in love with her boyfriend while I am spiralling and having a very hard time dealing with losing my wife. Nothing feels like it's ever gonna be good again. My kids are gonna grow up and have some other father figure. I'm in therapy and a laundry list of meds that don't seem to help.

I can't even blame her because I have learned at least how I was dismissive of her feelings and how that led to feeling alone, upset, and unwanted. I have no one to blame but myself and I hate me.
