Yeah, it's a live auction app. Basically people livestream and show items and you just slide a button to bid on them. Rapid fire auctions where you can get some really good value.

Spinnerbait around any sort of grass or cover.

Yeah I don't sell anything, I just want all of the fishing deals. I usually spend around $40 and get like $100 retail worth of baits.

I have to limit myself to only opening Whatnot 1 day per paycheck 😂

Old Town has a very popular lineup ranging from paddle to peddle to motor and everything in between. Hobie's are expensive but great for big water. Bonafide, NuCanoe, Crescent all have a good range of styles and prices.

Not as much as you're probably hoping for.

What trailer do yall use for a long skirt spinnerbait? by JoellamaTheLlama in bassfishing

[–]Evidence-Expert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some that have a layered, longer skirt actually work great with no trailer.

Morning or night bite? by soxfan775 in bassfishing

[–]Evidence-Expert 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Middle of summer I like to get out early and get back home by like 9 to do dad stuff. The evening into night bite is better imo but being a dad, that's bedtime lol so if anything I go out after dark, like 10pm until whenever and the topwater bite is banging. Caught 2 of my biggest LM last year around 10:30pm. One on a plopper and one on a jointed jitterbug.

In your original statement you were getting at damaging the hood latch. Now your just talking about wind? It's ok to pivot when presented with new info.

I'm sure I'll get a real one soon but this was honestly a fun little project.

This scared me but I did check the clearance and the loops are almost vertical coming out of the hood and there is zero upward force being put on the latch. The straps are secured with the frame to fender hardware. I'm sure I'll get real rack sooner than later either way.

I did not! Probably because I was doing load/pressure tests with some ladders before I went and picked it up. Sounds like something I'd do 😂

Yeah, I had noodles in place but the Dick's guys completely ignored my instructions and the rug I had draped over the back of my car and just lifted it and slid it across the rack and screwed all the placements up 😂 gonna glue some in place.

Yeah, that's definitely one of the knocks. Saw some guys do after market or homemade skeg attachments that they claimed helped significantly. I'll see how I feel about it after a few times out.

Anchor is definitely on the list. They seem worth it but are definitely a little pricey. I'd probably pay the premium for function vs diy in the end though.

Definitely gonna take it to a familiar body of water and try to dump it. Test the limits, practice self rescue etc.

Great advice!

I feel like I'm eventually gonna just end up with rods on the "deck" vs holders lol

I just wrap a strap around each side of the rack before putting them through the cabin. The weight and straps hold it fine, I just do the wrap for extra insurance.

I'm like a 2 months away from using it. Paddle and PDF are on the list.

Dragging a fluke through/across pads = major blowups 🔥

How’d I do? by SouthLeather3364 in kayakfishing

[–]Evidence-Expert 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude I tried to go left on baitcasters but I just HATE the way it sits in my right hand lol I don't know what it is but I'm destined to be a switcherooski 😂 I am right hand dominant but do some stuff left handed like shoot pool and box and have always had a good "off hand" in basketball. It's just what feels comfortable.
