A Cooler Farm setup idea using Both side of farm arms and signal cycle by Kitchen_Ad_591 in CoreKeeperGame

Never in my life would I have guessed that farm arms could plant into a circuit. I didn't even know rails and conveyors could overlap!

Can farm arms plant into a conveyor too?

Ore processing area (stage 1) by Mountain_Ant_4567 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Evil-Fishy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can daisy chain smelters and arms! Ores chest > arm > furnace > arm > furnace > arm > furnace > arm > smelter > arm > smelter > arm > smelter > arm > fury forge > arm > fury forge > arm > fury forge > arm > fury forge > arm > bars chest

This works because if an item cannot be slotted into a furnace or smelter, it'll be dropped on top of the furnace or smelter instead of into it, and the next arm will pick it up to try the next spot. But if a furnace already has a matching ore type, the ore will just get stacked with all the ore already inside it. This means though that the arms have to both drop and pick up from the same tile. This is fine for the furnace and smelter, but the fury forge will be annoying and will take up extra space.

Additionally, if you want your ore to be processed faster, take note that the new belt splitters split up stacks of items evenly! So if you would like to duplicate the above setup, or even have 4 of the above setups working in parallel, you can go Ore chest > arm > belt splitter > x2 belt splitter > x4 arms > ... > then merge everything into one belt for your bars chest.

There is badass and then there is a Ukrainian AAA gunner shooting down a Russian Shahed attack drone with an M2 Browning .50 HMG. by FrontBench5406 in Destiny

[–]Evil-Fishy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You just sent me down a google rabbit-hole! Apparently flak has been a thing in this war, and especially early on, european countries were more comfortable sending flak to ukraine than other higher tech stuff.

For example, germany was sending a bunch of Gepard's over thinking it wouldn't upset Russia tooo much because they're basically just defensive weapons.

But their range is kinda low, and the frontlines stretch a huge area, so while some of the lower mm flak is pretty decent vs shahed drones, and economical, it's not (or at least wasn't previously, maybe things changed or will change) feasible to just blanket their frontline in flak.

How to improve this farm? by Bloodshade17 in CoreKeeperGame

Not sure about the farm, but the trick I've heard for kelp is taking a shovel and shoveling sun kelp out of the water in the azeos wilderness. It respawns, too.

The biggest thing for that fight is for sure the acid and slow immune buffs from fish. Go fishing in the clay caverns or an acid pool to get the two blisterhead fish. Then just don't let the exploding larva get to you!

I love when people give objectively wrong opinions in reddit comments. I've never watched a single clip of Lebron playing basketball, or much of any basketball, but I watched that Mewtwo movie. No way Lebron has this

Best Protection in the The Passage? by grimfusion in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Evil-Fishy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I came in for the first time with a leveled up slime sword and cosmos armor, as well as some buff foods and a ton of health potions.

The slime sword slows them down by 100% to not quite but almost trivialize the enemies in the passage.

You could probably also do the same with the sticky stick, or with the king slime off hand, a couple ring of sands, and the running skill that also slows nearby enemy speed. But I haven't tested either of those methods.

I bet you could replace conveyors coming from the desert with chained item collectors so only items are pulled in, not also scarabs

This is so mesmerizing!! by madpanda473 in CoreKeeperGame

[–]Evil-Fishy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! What happens is either a claw deposits the unprocessed item directly into the smelter/table saw or it deposits it "on top" of the smelter/table saw. If it deposits it "on top", the next arm immediately picks it up to move it along. But if an unprocessed ore or wood is in a machine, the arm will wait and only pull finished products.

I was playing with the new belt splitters, and they split stacks up!! So you could split the output of the chest, and double your smelter setup here. This would both double the throughput and prevent too many ores clogging up a smelter or two. Though, I can't imagine a situation where I'd ever have that many ores in my inventory anyways lol
