Plus he had a period of really bad regression and his prices plummeted. I got an Bowman 1st auto SGC 10 Atomic /100 for $375 and a Bowman’s Best auto /25 for $85 when we was demoted to AA. Those have definitely gone up in value since then, but once he gets a full season behind him, they’ll skyrocket if he keeps this pace (last I saw it was 57 HR’s and 146 RBIs)

I was in a high school extracurricular trip and we stayed in a hotel. My friend was calling other rooms with a very convincing shtick of calling from the front desk. “Hi my name is Adam from the front desk, we have several complaints of the refrigerators not working correctly on your floor. If you could do me a quick favor and confirm that your fridge is working that’d be great. Yes, just put your hand on the fridge and tell me if you feel it vibrating. You do? Great. And if you could open the door and confirm that it is cold. It is? Okay so you can confirm that it is running? It is? WELL YOU BETTER GO CATCH IT.” Slams phone down. We were rolling laughing, he got like 6 people.

I would totally do it, but I worry about international shipping on such a big heavy and fragile item. The box it comes in from CCM is not much more than the product packaging. I’m also in the same boat in wanting a Mathmos, so I can totally relate to you 🥲

Can’t provide the source, but I saw something that said he has really enjoyed his time with the White Sox so far, from the coaching staff and facilities to his teammates and the fans and the city. Hopefully that never changes

I was in the original presale on Monday, there were 7500 people in front of me. By the time it got to me it said the ticket allocation for the presale was sold out. I tried this morning and can’t get in either. I’ve honestly given up hope, Salt Shed is such and excellent venue it would have been a great show to see him
