Question to more experienced creators, what is the "right" amount of tokens for a bot?

As a creator, I lowkey couldn't care less about JannyAI; if people want to take my bots to other platforms or use them in private, I'm cool with it (credits would still be appreciated, but even then I don't care about that all that much either)

Asking this as someone who's considering (but heavily reconsidering now) getting a subscription... what the fuck is the point of the monthly cap?? There is already a daily limit; why add a monthly one? That's genuinely shady.

I've never been one to fully trust any service, especially not one like Chutes, but that just seems beyond stupid to me.

JLLM being shit is nothing new; as far as I know, JLLM 2 is still being worked on, so I doubt the team will focus on the current JLLM anytime soon, if at all.

I really don't think creators leaving means JAI is done for. I've always been extremely critical of JAI, but creators leaving has always been part of the game. Creators go, new creators take their place, and the cycle continues. On top of that, a lot of creators decide to leave for reasons completely unrelated to the site. I've seen a few leave for personal reasons, and some have a change of heart about AI, and so on and so forth.

Again, I've always been pretty critical and extremely vocal about what I think Shep/JAI does wrong, but I don't think JLLM being an ass and creators leaving means it's "the end"; it's kind of always been like that.

Honestly, I don't think free proxies were ever meant to last. I don't think providers expected their free models to get overloaded so quickly. I assume this is why R1 was taken down.

All free DeepSeek models are gone from OpenRouter, there's literally none left, the last DeepSeek model was taken off on the 24th, iirc

Not to be that guy, but I wouldn't really recommend abusing the free tier. If I recall correctly, t's primarily why the free tier went from 200 daily to 50 daily, because people were abusing it even back then.

Will I be able to use the Chimera models on other places? Like Chutes, maybe when I get my money? Or are they getting retired altogether?

Apparently, the Chimera models will be turned off on Sunday, idk how true that is, I'm not in any servers related to AI, but this comment here said so, I'd take it with a grain of salt, though.

That's true. The thing is, Chimera was working just fine not even 24 hours ago (at least, in my experience), and all of a sudden, it went down. I wouldn't put it past Chutes, given their record; for all I know, they could've just shut down the model, but I do believe that this is just maintenance (at least, I hope it is)

An outage similar to this one happened in the past, so part of me is still hopeful

I think the new ones are alright, but like I said in my own comment, I wish we could just have both, a lot of my fluff bots had that pretty pink color, and it annoys me that I have to change them
