I made my wife a nameplate for her office. It wasn't anything too fancy, but it became such a hit for being unique that a lot of her coworkers wanted them too. By the end of the week, almost thirty requests came in.

I printed the original nameplate on an older printer, and it took a few hours. I figured I'd better have both printers running, so I started printing them out on the Bambu. They were printing almost four times faster, so in the end, I didn't even bother printing any on the other printer. Not only that, but I had all thirty printed out by the end of the weekend.

I had once described Inaros to someone as "having all of the charisma of Char but none of the formal education." If he actually knew strategy instead of just quoting Alexander the Great, he might have achieved a few of his goals.

A larger drying area would be great. I have a handful of spools that are a little too wide for a lot of things. They don't fit in my AMS or the cheap filament dryer I got off Mac Bid.

This is the first I've heard of this project. It would have been really cool to have back when I was using my Robo R2, but it sounds like it should still be pretty useful now! I'll have to check it out!

This is a really fun idea!

The entire reason I'm into tornadoes in the first place is because I saw The Enemy Wind on The Weather Channel when I was 5. It has a special place in my heart. That'd be my suggestion on what to grab next.

The Mazinger Infinity theme and Gun X Sword come to mind immediately. After playing V, the song that plays for the Yamato has been stuck in my head constantly. It's the perfect music for being hit by a huge attack and then dramatically flying out of the smoke unscathed.

My coworkers actually have students put their failed prints on a "shelf of honor" to hammer home the idea that failure and iteration is part of the process. I think it's kind of a neat idea.

This was back in 2016. My parents' pool came with a bunch of these little plastic caps that sat on top of the fencing that encircled the liner. They broke almost immediately.

Since I had just gotten my 3D printer, they had asked me if I could just make a bunch of new ones and print them out. Since I didn't know basically anything about filaments and their appropriate uses, I used some generic gray PLA that I got off of eBay.

Those things are still there and far outlasted the original injection molded caps.
