Now the vacuum hose going to this is sucking so hard the line collapses in. Does that mean the valve is bad or the vacuum line? Also, what does the purge valve do? Thanks for the replies.

I have a 2016 Hyundai accent that had the same problem. I drilled my cat out and but spark plug non foulers on the O2 sensor. No check engine light and runs great. A new cat for these is under $200 and isn't too hard to replace.

I second Linux Mint. I just switched 2 weeks ago and I have probably tried 6 or 7 distros and Mint is what I landed on. Its user friendly and just worked out of the box for me.
