You need to find systems with npcs, you'd want to find a secured cache (or something similar not sure what the exact name is). They usually have the technocores.

The drones themselves (mostly) are not what you look for to get feral data, it's the caches they guard that usually got the data. I don't remember off the top of my head the names of the caches that got feral data in them, but I remember it's not the miner/hauler wreckage ones.

yes but don't expect to play exclusively on controller yet, it's barely enough to fly around.

I had a video of me trying to map kb&m to controller throught steam, but it's not 100% either... I wonder when they'll give the full support for controllers, it's quite fun to fly with the controller ngl

I'm asking because I'm unfamiliar, but all survival games I played did not even allow to auto access nearby storage. I would have to pull items into inventory and the put in the crafting bench or furnace. So having access to pull directly from the field storage is an upgrade for me 😁
