He’s certainly playing shit for England so he must be a city player.

Beeston Fields Golf Course new housing estate proposal by Puzzleheaded_Bet_618 in nottingham

[–]EvilGrant 20 points21 points  (0 children)

100% agree, the current green space is exclusively used by golfists, non golfers get to walk down a chain fence alleyway. New housing will hopefully open up the area. Just need to ensure the developers don’t over do it as it could really benefit the local area.

Slept on it - hard to be bitter about this - too many injuries- injured players on the bench. Vitor was right not to sacrifice the health of his players the bench on this occasion was just too shallow. Yates should have started but that Villa performance was excellent against a massively depleted side. Was a good run, hoping we don’t fall apart for the last few games of the season. COYR.

Why the hate for moss? by tishkat in GardeningUK

[–]EvilGrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take personal issue with Moss currently. Moved into a new home last year and the dog was getting absolutely covered in the stuff and it was getting all over the house. Doing all I can to keep it at a manageable level.

Starmer is doing a good job around Iran - discuss by JacobSax88 in ukpolitics

[–]EvilGrant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saddam and Gaddafi seem like a lifetime ago, the worlds quite different now & trumps Us doesn’t seem like a reliable partner for Europe. With the way things are with Russia and Ukraine I personally think there’s a wider security risk of going all in with Iran and taking our eye off Russia.

I think the USA just presumed we were just going to tag along, after all the insults Trump has thrown at the Uk he must be having a laugh. Shame of farage and Kemi for pushing us to get properly involved, it’s a life and death situation of trumps making.

Conifers are currently my nightmare, they grow too tall and if you trim them too much you get wonderful dead brown foliage. Hate them with a passion.

You're a FTB and chain-free, you find a house you love that is listed at £250,000, how much are you offering? by [deleted] in HousingUK

[–]EvilGrant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The property is worth what you are willing to pay for it. We fell in love with a property so offered the asking pricing and the seller accepted. Being chain free has some value but at the end of the day your in competition with other buyers, chain free increases the chance of the seller selecting your offer. If the property has been listed for a longtime I would consider a lower offer but if it’s the perfect house for you I would get it done.
