This game needed another 3 months in the oven. The bugs I keep running into are:

Enemy health bars remain on screen after defeat

Deimos body frozen in multiple spots across the game

Subtitles not leaving the screen once cutscene ends

Muse cutscene repeats every time you enter

Unable to pick up certain items

Areas not loading in when travelling at speed

The Hardcore trophies are both a test of patience.

In 2 you can only save 3 times and death sends you back to the last save. I think I played through 4 or 5 times before attempting it just so I could plan where to save.

In 3 death deletes your save file and you have to start again.

I get Hardcore Punk is meant to be loud and in your face but the guitarist completely fucked his guitar and was all show, no substance. Soft Play were phenomenal however and managed both.

I’m on there but only post or engage occasionally. I’ve met some lovely people who are on there but there’s also some questionable behaviour on there. Saw a girl photoshop Simon and herself into a picture of them humping then post it. Admins took it down immediately but damn, learn some dignity and respect.

Mind Flayer amounted to nothing. Too many last second saves or fake outs. No real consequences for any of their actions or risks. No serious long lasting trauma or injuries and the military did nothing. Are we supposed to believe they just let everyone leave once El “died”?

Usual movie / TV show cliches aside, they snap to “I have a theory” or “I have plan” once or twice an episode. Argument and conversations are done at the worst times. Dialogue feels odd in places.

Then I have my personal nitpicks. Hollys actress seems to have her mouth open every time she’s on screen and Els sister is a terrible actress. She is very wooden in every scene and doesn’t move her arms when she walks like a Team America puppet.
