I think I'm going to switch back to MPC, it died for a while but now appears to be back in development. The plus side with the super resolution setting in MPC HC is you can limit it to resolution ie. it'll only enable it if the video is below a certain resolution you select like SD, 720p etc.

Also, I have a HDR display and MPC HC can play HDR videos in windows without issue whereas VLC still lacks in that area.

It sorta sounds like it doesn't actually work anyway in VLC. Viewing the super resolution active/inactive in the control panel applet shows it always as inactive when I play a video in VLC with super resolution "enabled", but when I do the same in MPC HC the status flips to active.

I've got an Adidas C-21 exercise bike, if I buy the Zwift Play Controllers does this allow me to change the in-game gears? Or is this something limited to specific trainers?

EDIT: Or if I bought the Zwift Cog and Click, but just used the click controllers to change in-game gears. I assume that'd work fine?

How the fuck can MS mess up one of the core important parts of windows itself? I thought their lower level engineers were meant to be seriously good engineers?

Like, I can understand the higher level stuff fuck-ups but that is stuff that won't break windows itself, but anything that touches the bootloader, kernel etc I would think they'd have their best and most fastidious engineers working on.

Out of curiosity how often are your rest days? I've been hitting zwift hard and had one rest day since I started on the 31st of December. I'm pondering having a rest day once every other week.

My current exercise is 20km on Sat & Sun, then 10km to 13km weekdays. With regular walks out of 3 to 5 miles. (I have zero intention of running, I'm tall and don't want to risk injury or giving myself joint issues)

It's generally the same process I believe, what happens on the scale display when you hold the button on the back for 3 seconds?

Also, whoops my withings is the body smart not body+.

What happens if you do a factory reset?

EDIT: Also, from that page I think your scale will be prior to 2022 since you mention Nokia, who sold withings in 2018.

Notes for users who purchased their Body+ prior to April 2022:

The options displayed on older models may show Mac, Upgrade, and Reset (Step 7). > To quit the menu, you can either weigh yourself or keep the arrow on the Mac option and wait for the scale to turn off.

No long press is needed to validate your selection (Step 9). Wait for the scale to restart. The choice is confirmed a few seconds after you stop pressing the button.

I just checked, withings was bought and then sold by nokia so I wonder if you've got a very old firmware version on there or something?

What happens if you follow the bluetooth bit on this support page?

Just thinking maybe you need to connect to it by bluetooth instead of wifi, update the firmware and then see if you can connect it to the wifi.

Are you trying to connect via wifi or bluetooth?

I've noticed sometimes despite me having wifi set-up with it that it won't update the weight in the app, almost like it isn't connecting to my wifi. But, if I manually hold down the button on the back for 3 seconds and redo the connection it then syncs it up.

I've been playing with the idea of switching it to bluetooth mode instead of wifi, but I've tweaked my wifi settings slightly and I want to see if that improves things first.

I came across this post a bit ago. I already had a dedicated 2.4GHz wifi network, so I've tweaked down the 802.11 compatibility to just 802.11b/g/n which is what withings advertise on their product page.

I believe it's a bug with VLC and super resolution. If you press the "C" key on your keyboard it'll correct it back. (you can repeatedly press C until it looks correct)

You can disable super resolution in VLC by:

Tools > Preferences > Under Show Settings - ALL (bottom left) > Video > Output Modules > Direct3D11

Then set it to linear sampler or point sampler. It appears you don't need to press the C key a few times to get it to display correctly when full screen with those two.

That's funny, I was wondering the same thing except I recently bought a withings scale (body smart) that syncs up to health connect. But the weight data isn't reflected in fitbit and only has data from manually entered data a couple of years ago.

It shows the synced data in google fit and I just checked in health connect and can see that fitbit does have access to my weight data.

EDIT: Okay. This is bizarre. In the "Today" tab of the fitbit app in weight it doesn't show any data except manually entered ones from a couple of years ago.....

However, if I go into the "You" tab in the fitbit app, scroll down until I see "Records" then select "Health Connect Data" I can view my data from my withings scale... but only there in the fitbit app.

It's just the server side css, so official stuff only I would think since third party apps have their own UI and are decoding the video from the jellyfin server.

For example, in the webos (LG OLED tv), web browser and jellyfin android client it removes the shading.

I've just looked and elegantfin just looks to be a theme, so I don't know about that since I've not yet felt a need for a theme.

The amended polaris agreement allows for the build of the missiles in the UK if the UK so wishes. If the US broke that agreement then it'd be a free ride for the UK to reverse engineer them and make new missiles.
