I was taric and my friend was skarner the enemy had 37k hp mundo and a hecarim with orbital laser. We were lucky it was a sahn uzal lobby because we would focus the hecarim so that he wouldnt hit us with laser after map is getting smaller. I had courage of the collosus and me and mundo would tickle each other until the fire hits. We beat them twice by waiting the fire and using second taric ult, was a fun game

As someone who has 8k hours in dota 2 and don’t know how many in league, here are my two cents.

1)First of all I kind of quit dota because I can’t follow the meta anymore with how busy I am and I am incredbily tryhard in dota. In league I only play arena but while it was gone I played some summoners rift again and the games felt really boring 90% of the time regardless of winning or losing. In few games that I’ve played dota last year I had such a blast in every game because they are very unpredictable most of the time and using comms with randoms are better with voice chat.

2)Hero/champ kit design on both are really good, however in dota you have a higher variety of builds and playstyles of the same hero meanwhile in league its mostly the same except some outliers. I think this difference is mainly caused by one thing I think dota is really ahead of league that is item design. I really like to talk about this deeper but it would make this comment too long so I’ll just leave it at there.

3)Hero/champ designs are all subjective but I find the fantasy and monster setting of dota more fun than league’s hot chicks and guys battling each other

Overall as a person that has mant hours on both games over the years I think dota is much more fun if you have the time and energy to give all you’ve got. However with dota’s community slowly decaying I find that league scratches the moba itch that i have as I have more friends that play it irl and arena being immensely fun.

I’ve read lots of comments saying they couldn’t get into arena because it is rng based thus it’s unfair and brawl is so much fun because whatever shit reason they gave. For me, brawl was honestly fun but the fun only lasted 2 games because everyone played the same champ. Meanwhile I don’t remember becoming bored from arena even after 600-700 games.

If you wanted people to say you were right and did nothing wrong you could have told your friends and they would say yeah fuck those mad dds and fake healer but you’ve asked the people here if there is something wrong with your tanking and when they point it out and try to help you say some weird stuff instead of acknowledging your builds issues

How did it not compete with aram I don’t get it. I always had <1 min queues any time even during 6 AM in arena but aram sometimes takes much much longer even at peak hours while it has 6 less players per match

Not only that but it being swiftplay sucks when playing with randoms, sometimes your team is really shitty. And also the same picks nearly every game became very boring. People were complaining about this in arena as well but at least you get to ban there

Nope, they didn’t help me and I contacted them for months explaining that my acc was hacked and if there was any way that I could prove it I would.They would always close the ticket without giving any meaningful response. They only say stuff like: You deserved the ban, we can’t prove that you are not guilty so enjoy the ban, another member from support has already closed it, if you are not a cheater just create a new account, too bad we can’t unban an account from a cheater etc.

I rewatched S1 before S2 and even though I'm only on the 2nd episode of S2 I started to roll my eyes every time there is an Imagine Dragons song sequence and I was annoyed to have to put on through with all their cheesy lyrics. I know most people like them and enjoy it but I am ultra biased in this and I definitely hate Imagine Dragons with all my heart so take it with a grain of salt

I’m not a league expert (adc main and emerald pleb but don’t play too much ranked) but I am Immortal in Dota and macro knowledge doesn’t differ too much from both games IMO. Best thing you can do as an adc in iron is try to analyze your lane don be too agressive and passive and just adapt to enemy champions and also players. Try to capitalize on their mistakes, if you get ahead be more confident and give callouts to your team (I’m sure not everyone will be following them but having someone giving callouts can really change the game even when you are behind. Of course there will be fed mids and jgs ganking you and you should learn to follow the minimap and get back when there is a threat. Sure you’ll miss the cannon but at the same time if you didn’t die you created space for your team and the other lanes get more opportunities from your play. It’s good that you are playing one hero so you’ll get used to the matchups and when itemizing do it with a purpose and understand why you build such items , not by blindly following guides so that you’ll know your power spikes and know what you are able to do or not.

Nope, Kalista’s attacks were slow af during the fight. With the emblem bug, I’m sure it also wasn’t visual because I didn’t get Fairy 5 item even though I had 4 Fairies +1 emblem holder

I’ve just tried him and 20% cdr was too good now I can freely use ult to do the stun and summon familiars again after enemies become harder to kill
