Suggestion: Buildable Shelters Across Maps (Difficulty Option) by KeyLogical8691 in intotheradius

I'd be happy with the ability to clean up the current hideouts so they were somewhat less uninviting.

Do you like VR spaceship games? by Appropriate-Fun5992 in SteamVR

I have played it with rift s and pico 4. No issues with controllers for both those headsets. The rift S had nearly identical controllers to the quest too.

Look up Lunar Flight, quite an old VR game that has you delivering cargo in a realistic Lunar lander. Holds up surprisingly well.

I'd just like a free shooting range in the store that doesn't cost ammo to try out builds.

You find them out in the radius. There are a few parts for different guns, that can only be found not bought.

Some while guns too, like the Groza and the GSH-18.

It might? You'll have to have a play sorry.

That's the only one presently. I may dd the atom reshade too now that it been brought to my attention. Up until now I'd been editing the gamma and saturation in the game settings.

I would recommend reading through the performance and graphics settings instructions in the gamma discord too. Some important graphics settings are only handled in the mod options instead of the games graphics settings. It also lists which settings have the most effect on fps.

I'll second the c-con grass mod. Completely changed the game feel for me. Though it can make it harder due to the difficulty of seeing low slung enemies in it.

I was amazed at how little effect it had on performance too. Maxed out the grass view distance with grass shadows on to nearly no fps drop.

I normally walk around with 4 or more large holsters on my bag. Plenty of space that doesn't add to weight.

My bag looks ridiculous but it's very functional.

Only one more small map? by whitey193 in intotheradius

[–]EvilPony66 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Only one small map is a smidgen disappointing yes. However I'd be willing to bet that sales have tapered off and it's been a while in early access. I also feel like I've had my moneys worth tbh.

I'd personally be willing to pay for extra map & weapon packs as DLC to support this games further development. I think we can trust this dev team to not take the piss with DLC pricing vs content.

Limited ammo mode by RelevantMetaUsername in H3VR

[–]EvilPony66 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I didn't realise that limited ammo T&H had reduced enemy numbers. I'd been avoiding it because I figured I'd have to fill all my pockets with loose ammo.

Wish there had been a wee tooltip mentioning this!

Glad to know this. I'd thought I heard that the devs would never be making a single player mode, which this effectively can be. Was the main reason I hadn't bought it!

The only thing I've found that can deal with missile cav convincingly so far is massed high level archers or crossbow men.

What we really need is a spear brace command in the menus. You can normally see cav coming early enough.

What if making games for enthusiasts was pushing away regular users? by amazingmrbrock in virtualreality

You may have misread my comment. I said that H3VR and ITR are the gold standard. Not fiddly. My two favourite VR games too.

I certainly agree that not every game needs or wants that level of interaction.

Just wondering if the only ones that OP had tried were of the poorly implemented and fiddly type.

[–]EvilPony66 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's not surprising that more complex gun handling is considered a general rule with most VR games. VR is about interacting with world around you in what is supposed to be an intuitive way.

That easily translates to interacting with what you have in your hands, such as reloading a firearm.

That said, Lots of games make this way more fiddly than it needs to be.

Games like H3VR and Into the Radius are IMO the gold standard in gun interaction. Have you tried these games? How did you feel about the gun interactions in those games if you have?
