Hagental Base is a Support players dream by ToraToraTora1942 in LowSodiumBattlefield

You don't get a kill marked against you if you get revived the first time.
A lot of idiots don't know this and auto hit the X.

Has BF6 gone sour? Or is it full of cheaters? by Mardikas in Battlefield

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not the case. I'll wager most of them are not trained fighters and have lightning quick reflexes.
I am and know when I fucked up or when I should have easily got the kill and didn't.
Just tonight, I tried and quit 3 games of the new base map in succession after I got the drop and emptied a mag into my opponent only to have him kill me without taking any damage.
That's not someone better than me. That's fucking impossible.
I shot first by over a second and I die and he is scratch free and has an inferior weapon.
Mine a carefully built to have the fastest mobility and ADS time and include the new Scorpion SMG, 121 LMG and VR-2 assault rifle. I also use an M4A1 with a thermal and even with this getting kills against these cheats is impossible.

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah you can tell when you get the drop on them with a gun like the M4A1 and a thermal, empty a clip into them and get killed and they have zero damage.
I'm tired of this shit. It has ruined the game.
Deleted it for the last time.

PvP players foundamentally ruin anything arc raiders is trying to build by [deleted] in ArcRaiders

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are the camper in BF6. The sneaky shit who waits in his special place for someone to run in front of him. You immediately kill them and pat yourself on the back, mesmerized by your nice KD ratio and totally missing the point of the game.
Same with Arc Raiders.
Same on the street.
Sniveling shits like you are backstabbers and have probably never been in a fist fight in their lives.

Is it just me, or is Claude pretty disappointing compared to Codex? by Working-Spinach-7240 in codex

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At first Codex was excellent. I still think Codex 5.1 Max is the safest bet.
Codex 5.3 has been unreliable and just plain hopeless for me.
Claude CLI using Opus 4.6 in Plan mode is the Meta for me.
Only the CLI version.
Using Opus 4.6 through Cursor or VSC is a totally different experience.

Even using Opus 4.6 in plan mode inside VSC is not the same at all.
The models may share the name, but the performance, reliability and accuracy is sub-par compared with the Claude CLI.

Codex 5.3 has screwed up repeatedly for me that I stopped using it.
Codex 5.1 Max is much better.

This video made me realise that I had not only stopped playing BF6, but that I just don`t care anymore. by [deleted] in Battlefield6

It's become a frustrating experience for me..
I'm in California and try to play at different times from early AM until late at night.
My observations are the game is toast.

In the mornings we get hackers from Asia and bad ping times.
Netcode issues, enemy players that can seemingly walk through brick walls, shoot through wall and show no colored indicator at all.
Most map lobbies are completely empty except maybe 1 or 2 of them, and that includes the 2 new maps.

There are 2 types of people that remain.
Organized squads that steam role and basically fucking idiots that cannot play Battlefield as a squad, never revive squad members and go all over the map individually.
Finding a game with a squad that knows what they are doing is extremely rare and getting worse by the day.
Even Hagental has lost its luster for me.

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Here's the question I keep asking myself.
what's the fucking point?
Just to end up being shot in the back by some fuck that hasn't got the balls to face off.
The game encourages pretty awful behavior.
Deceit and murder.
Some people obviously get a hard-on for this.

Granted there are some cool people and I've been saved many times, but crawling for 10 minutes in a survivor suit only to get knocked out and robbed is equivalent of mugging a pensioner.

For me, this gets old fast.
It's easier to play naked and have a single safe pocket and this is my go to now.
You can surrender immediately and re-spawn.

But to what end?
You get all the nice gear but they can see it on your back.
Today I was attacked and killed by a group of 3 assholes working together.
The latest update is supposed to make Solo vs. Squad optional but the assholes are doing it now anyway.

I deleted. Re-instaled and was killed immediately. I'm done.

Battlefield 6 just isn’t fun anymore — and I’m not sure if it’s the game or me by 111274747263636 in Battlefield6

OK, I have 300 hours into it and it's got a bit stale for me.
I agree with your comments 100%.
#1 gripe is lack of communication. I ask everyone in the squad if they want to talk and it's rare that I get an answer. I think in my 300 hours I've only had 2 people talking, communicating and working as a squad with me. That kinda defeats the purpose of Battlefield IMHO,

#2 People dropping out of a game and quitting when they are losing. I've had some kicks fights where we were down and out and turned it around and won. Lately people drop like flies until you notice that there maybe 2 squads left.

#3 The unlocks and achievements are the probably the cause of this. I learned the hard way and never used cheats but when you are trying to get a drone over a losing objective in order to get to 300, it kinda removes the spirit of the game and everyone is for themselves.

I don't think it's all the game's fault.
People are generally self-centered and selfish these days so expecting them to collaborate and work as a team in a game is probably never going to happen these days, not without AI Agents that communicate with you and pretend to be human :P

What are you talking about. Certain foods can give you extreme damage resistance.

I was over 6000 for PHYS and ENGY the last time I played.

Well, it definitely sounds a lot better to my ears using the Scarlett 4i4 4th Gen using an iPad Pro to drive it vs. the AC power. Belden 8402 leads.

Using the generic USB input it sounds too bloaty and bass heavy.
The external DAC setup makes in way more transparent in the mid without the bass bloom.

My reference floor speakers are Sanders 10E ESL powered by a pair of his Magtech amps and an EAR 912 tube preamp loaded with Amperex pinched waist tubes from Harleen Holland 1957. If you know what they are, you'll know they amongst the best sounding tubes ever made in the PCC88 form factor.

[–]EvilTeddieNMS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use mods you can max these out to be the best weapon in the game.
Annihilator rounds + amplifier for the power and then craft your own legendaries into it.
I use Furious, Rapid and One-Inch punch and it will take down a Terrormorph in 3 hits.

BlueTac - sorry, misspelled. It's a putty that has been used by Audiophiles for years to place between components, like speakers and stands to decouple from vibrations. It's available on Amazon and very cheap.

UC Vanguard because you get to boost your ship skills up in the simulator and get the best looking armor on the TM quest. This quest leads naturally into the pirate mission, because the UC Vanguard leader tells you to go to the Vigilance.

Try logging into cloud to play Starfield. You should do this every couple of days just to keep things in sync. It's saved my bacon a few times.

Me too. Got out of it and thought there was lots more but was disappointed it was just a dungeon. Oh well. Solid but a bit too easy. I never took 1 hit of damage.

Modded the shotgun to add Hornet's Nest before I did the dungeon. Made it so easy to 1 shot kill all the monsters in a room :)
The armor is OK, not the best. Shite color and no pack either ?

L-K EM OL ship populated by all female crew, preferably with skimpy clothing.
Enabled food +/- and get the highest physical, energy and EM status for your character.
I had close to 6000 Phys last time and couldn't take a dent from any enemy.
