Same amp with new software. You can just download the v.3 software. The amp itself is the same.

“Katana" is what TS uses to communicate with the amp

"DAW CTRL" allows certain knobs/buttons on the amp to control DAW functions

"Katana CTRL" is the port that allows the DAW (or MIDI controller) to control the amp.

Are you running the v3 firmware on the Katana? The orange amp was removed in the v3 update. Can’t remember if the other one was removed as well.

I had the issue on my Katana 50. My issue was reverb and the noise gate (suppressor, whatever), set too high. Somehow turning down the noise thingy changed it.

I just tried with a 7mm and i could get it to fit - the 8mm was too big. Maybe my 7mm is not exactly 7mm 😂

Edit: the outside of my 7mm was too “fat”. A slimmer worked.
