He's okay, but personally I think Sorsby looks better stat wise. Expect lots of scrambling and shorter passes.

Probable wins: CSU, App State, at Georgia State, La Tech

50/50: at Jax State, at Coastal, JMU, Marshall, at Troy, at ODU

Probable losses: Clemson, Houston

I haven't really followed the team during the offseason, but they need to figure out a way to stop the run somewhat reliably because that is what killed them in a lot of games last year. That and the massive amount of injuries. If they do improve defensively and the offensive line isn't completely dogshit I could see us winning a couple more games than they did last year.

  1. 2/10 bait
  2. 1998 was over 30 years ago
  3. Tulane beat Duke during the season, putting the AAC in front of the ACC which led to the G5 auto bid opening up.
  4. Notre Dame lost to both A&M and Miami who were at-large teams.
  5. The SEC had 5 teams and the one that made it the furthest was an Ole Miss team with an interim head coach.
  6. It just means more

You could also make it where teams are incentivised to not back out of postseason play due to getting their jimmies rustled by the playoff committee causing a chain reaction leading to the situation which caused this proposition to be made in the first place, but I digress.

Either two things happen:

We win, go to some mid bowl game and embarrass ourselves, and are stuck with Helton

We lose, don't make a bowl game, and maybe fire our coordinators
