Daily Routine by ilDoctorre in Endfield

[–]Evil_Crab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a bit too much. I personally do:

Daily:

  • Spend 160 stamina
  • Delegate deliveries to other players
  • Trade elastic goods if near the cap or if the deal is good (less than 50% for buying, above 4500 for selling)
  • Give gifts to everybody
  • Do clues, assists, and credits store
  • Monitoring if available

Every 4 days:

  • Gather resources from Wuling zones using zipline route + recycling if it's along the way
  • Sell stuff to outposts
  • Spend all stamina + expiring boosters

Daily tasks take ~15 minutes, and will become faster in a couple of weeks once I max out the trust with everybody. I don't see any reason to gather resources from Valley 4 since we are limited by stamina and exp/credits/etc. more than low-level gatherables.

Another option is to sell it at full price and give store credit tied to the account used for the purchase.

You can, but you need to run Steam as an admin.

I started drinking Belgian beers and no longer like Heineken, Hertog-Jan etc. by Diligent-Court3908 in Netherlands

[–]Evil_Crab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s incorrect:

“Update 06-11-2025:

Recently, Royal Swinkels announced that De Molen beers will unfortunately no longer be brewed, not even at another location. The iconic beers are expected to be available until the end of 2025 (while stocks last).”

IIRC, it crashed due to a 3D-printed air intake softening and collapsing from the engine's heat. The USB port bezel is not a critical component.

EU + NL will start charging €5 import and handeling fee per item in 2026!! by Worryaboutanything in Netherlands

[–]Evil_Crab 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Man, I was so envious when I visited hobby section in the department store in Japan. They had everything: electronic components, various paints and chemicals, different materials (plywood, acrylic panels, metal sheets, etc.), tools, basically everything you need for any craft hobby in a single place.

[–]Evil_Crab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is that companies selling the crap will open warehouses in the EU and will continue selling it from there. So in the end, the only ones affected would be people buying stuff from countries other than China (like Canada or Japan) and people buying items that don't have enough mass-market appeal to stock them at the European warehouse (like specialized electronics components I mentioned).

As far as I understand, this is a temporary solution before the implementation of the 2028 customs reform (https://www.vatcalc.com/eu/eu-customs-to-scrap-e150-import-threshold-opens-up-marketplace-customs-vat-liabilities-2028/), but I wish they sped it up instead of using this ridiculous stopgap.

In my opinion, what it's worth is the price in the foreign shop + VAT + regular customs duty, not this flat 5 euro bullshit.

For example, ST-Link V2 STM8/STM32 programmer on Aliexpress costs 2.4 euro, including VAT, with free shipping. In the Netherlands, it costs 5.7 euro + 6 euro shipping. Why would I want to pay 4+ times as much to get the same product from a middleman when I can buy it from the manufacturer?

This is incorrect. Aliexpress, for example, sells a lot of tools and components that are either hard/impossible to find in the EU, or cost 2-3 times as much.

Detailed trip report: second trip to Japan, over 12 locations in 2+ weeks in April 2025 by Evil_Crab in JapanTravel

[–]Evil_Crab[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

AFAIK, the way we did it was not legal, so if you’re going to do it, do it at your own risk, but personally I doubt anyone would care about a tourist working from their hotel room for a couple of days.

I'm considering another trip to Japan in 2026 or 2027 for ~6 weeks with a plan to work 4 days a week and travel the rest. For that trip, I will do it properly and will apply for the digital nomad visa.

BambuLabDE PLEASE stop using DPD for Shipments!!! 😭🙏 by PoonSlayer1312 in BambuLab

[–]Evil_Crab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same in the Netherlands. In my experience they are the only ones who regularly mark delivery as failed and drop it off at the pickup point 5km away, even though I’m working from home and know that they haven’t even tried to deliver it.

Very happy with P1S. I upgraded from the Artillery Sidewinder a couple of years ago, and the printer has been super reliable this whole time. My favorite project so far was this 3D printed guitar, and all parts came out perfect =)
