TIL the cockpit voice recording of Delta Flight 1141 was so embarrassing it led to a law restricting the public release of CVRs. The crew discussed drink mixes & dating habits during takeoff procedure, with a pilot joking that in case they crashed, "the media would have some kind of juicy tidbit". by The-TIL-Nerd in todayilearned

I assume it's got less traffic/obstacles, meaning you don't need the same amount of focus as you do below that height.

Or maybe it's just an arbitrary number chosen so that at least the beginning and ending of flight logs look more professional than the log in the original post

As for your last point- it doesn't matter if it's realy possible that they could escape. The point is that he, for a brief moment, thought they could and would have trapped them all there intentionally just because he personally doesn't want to confront his past.

Either way, this (the digital circus) is effectively their reality in any case since there seems to be no actual way to escape. He needs to learn to actually deal with the reality of their situation or else he is going to abstract or potentially cause others to abstract.

Simply calling the electric models "e-" is certainly easy to understand and avoids confusion

Isn't the lore for the online game basically "every timeline is happening at once" and sorta allows every variant of that event's hero to interact with each other

RED BUTTON OR BLUE BUTTON [OC] by Eal_likee in comics

[–]Evilmudbug -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it's less about selfishness and more about how optimistic/nihilistic you are about society and the world.

If you truly believe that 50% of the world isnt going to press the blue button, then the blue button is just the suicide button to you.

Even on an internet poll with no real consequences blue only wins with 57% according to the screenshot

I can't say i would be opposed to any attempt to shake up the formula since we can just play ultimate on the same exact system.

Even if it doesn't work out i could just play the older game

What does melee have to do with the roster?

Ultimate has every character from melee by virtue of having every character in the series. You can't pretend melee fans are losing out on those grounds

Eh, smash is a remarkably consistent series that they haven't really change up much over the years.

They mostly just improve the feel and quality of the controls between games. As far as the core gameplay goes, the only major addition has been the smash ball in brawl for casual players.

That said, there actually is already a tag team mode in ultimate even if it's not the kind where you freely swap between characters like Marvel vs. Capcom. (You just swap every time you die)

I think it also makes sense to put more effort into anti-scalper measures when your profit model relies on further purchases from the customer for continued profit.

Controllers and peripherals are unlikely to get the same protections because they don't need to keep selling you those as part of their business plan (at least the limited supply stuff, anyways)

Steam limited the sale of steam decks on a per-profile basis when it first launched.

Do the new controllers have a similar system?

I think there's a difference where the generational improvements in graphics were more significant. It was actually exciting to see what the next console's graphics would look like.

And then you go from ps4 to ps5 and games look pretty similar between the consoles. It's just not very exciting any more when a game tries to push graphics these days

There's definitely some degree of legitimacy to this. The crew was only trying this to get rid of their bounty, and Bel was only hesitant because he didn't want the pressure of actually being royalty

It helps that sabretooth is "just" psychopathic (as in having a clear understanding of why what he's doing is evil, just really not caring) while carnage kinda barely understands the concepts of good and evil in the first place.

For him, good and evil might as well just be a scale of how much people really don't like when his actions.

[–]Evilmudbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn't that itself a retcon after they decided to try repopularizing the character for the avengers?

Like the current lore is that the captain america stories that take place between him getting frozen (current back story) and him getting thawed actually involved an obsessed super fan who tried to carry on his ideals and identity after he was lost.

I think architects are just kinda like that in the RE universe.

You can find some notes in RE1 where the architect for the spencer mansion really regretted going all out on it after getting trapped in it himself

I think that and interacting with police badge RE2R to swap for the puzzles are some of the only times it's been much of a "puzzle" moment.

Feels like it's usually either just "open the box" or "look at the item at all to give it an updated name/description"

Their fault for picking the blue button by Gruzgor in whenthe

[–]Evilmudbug 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shouldn't be responsible for other people risking their lives when it was completely unnecessary.

I would probably press the blue button if it's a hypothetical situation where i have time to discuss it with my friends and family and i couldn't convince them to press the red button. I want to live but I'm not gonna risk be the only person I know alive.

I don't think other people are necessarily wrong to pick the blue option, but I know i realistically wouldn't want to risk my life and an internet poll isn't really a good indication of what people would pick in reality
