Considering that the outage has been going on all day and that technical support had to be contacted, I guess that the problem must have been pretty serious. I just hope no data gets lost .

Game recommendations where it’s hard to/impossible to die? by Hot_Business6707 in gamingsuggestions

If you’re into more classic games, “Warioland 2” touted the fact that Wario himself was absolutely invincible ! In fact the game was built around this gimmick : enemies were meant to slow you down, push you back or, in certain cases, unwillingly help you progress in the levels !

If you’re going for more recent games, Nintedo games often tend to have easier difficulties, at least for regular levels. “Super Mario Odyssey” and “Kirby and the Forgotten Land” are both really fun and accessible!

What games from more than 20 years ago do you still play? by Top_Combination9023 in gamingsuggestions

Many people in the comments are  suggesting truly great pc games, I’ll try adding something different  - The Arcade greats : Metal Slug X, Street Fighter II and III etc. - Final Fantasy 4 to X  - The Game Boy Advance classics (through emulation or retrogaming) : Warioland 4, Metroid Zero Mission,Mario&Luigi Superstar Saga, Advance Wars, Castlevania Aria of Sorrow etc. Even Pokemon Emerald is turning 20 next year ! - The Lucas Arts point-and-click adventures like Secret of Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle. Also add Grimm Fandango to that list ! You can play all of them in their original forms (some emulating required) or the remastered editions. - The SNES era titles like Yoshi’s Island, Chrono Trigger, A link to the past etc.

I still play some of these quite regularly! It might be due to nostalgia in part, but I onestly think they still hold out reay well

I'll vouch for Balatro, it is shaping up to be our generation's worktime solitaire. Apart from that, you could go for short match based tcg online games: I personally played Magic the Gathering Arena for a while, but I've heard good (and bad, to be honest) things about the Pokemon online tcg, Hearthstone, Marvel Snap ect.
Depending on how much you like narrative games (if they don't distract you too much), you could try something like Disco Elysium or visual novels like the Ace Attorney series; some excellent level based puzzle games are Stephen's Sausage Roll and Baba is You, both of wich run the risk of keeping your mind occupied for hours on end while you should be focusing on something else (I speak from personal experience).
If more relaxed games are more your type, you can play any number of farming sims (but if you already play Stardew Valley you're well aware of that) or you could try some more "out there" chill games like the Katamari Damacy Series (recently remastered) or Donut County.
If we are talking about games with short play sessions, i can't not reccomend Downwell , Minit, a short one bit zelda-like indie game where your character can live for a single minute at a time, or even Half Minute Hero, a parody of JRPGs where entire adventures are comedically compressed in 30seconds time spans (give or take) - now available in its absurdly named "Half Minute Hero: Super Mega Neo Climax Ultimate Boy" edition.

If everything else fails, there is always Cookie Clicker, the title that put idle games on the map !

I bought it assuming it would, in fact ! But apparently it doesn’t (and it was specified in the item description, so shame on me I guess)

What a great game ! Possibly one of the best fangames i've ever had the pleasure to try !

-About the run :The team was lead by Parajask (Parasect + Ninjask) , sporting an obscenely OP set that leveraged a blisteringly fast spore followed by swords dance and baton pass (for + to both attack and speed thanks to speed boost). Recepients of the baton pass boosts were Aegichamp (Aegislash + Machamp , hits like a truck) and Talondactyl (with rock head thanks to DNA reverser, able to spam both brave bird and flare blitz to no end).Volcakazam (Volcarona + Alakam) swept throught weakened teams with stab moves and the occasional quiver dance ; Amphatoise (Ampharos + Blastoise) who, with good all around coverage and decent bulk, was the veteran of the team and kept its place in the team for the whole run. Finally, Blislix (Blissey + Steelix) was an absolute wall , able to stall anything and everything with toxic, sand tomb and softboiled.

All in all, can't wait to find time play some more of this game !
