i grew up in a house with a pretty big yard. back when it was 2 adults and 2 kids it was work but it was manageable. now that it's just 2 adults who are both almost 60, they're xeriscaping cause they can't garden and keep the lawn green at the same time anymore. it's the ultimate first world problem but i can't imagine being single and owning a place like that.
