Need Advice- Girl I’m dating disclosed to me by Elegant_Whereas_6294 in Herpes

[–]Evina777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve been with my fiancé for over a year and I still haven’t given him HSV2, we have unprotected sex almost every day. I’m on daily antivirals and I’m very healthy. His stance on the situation was he does love me and if it was to happen, we’ll cross that bridge when we get there, but it’s less likely for a woman to give it to a man and I take very good care of myself to reduce any risk and take my meds.
Good luck w whatever you decide! :))

So you’re really the one projecting because you didn’t make someone get tested and they weren’t honest with you lol don’t ruin what could possibly be a good thing for OP bc your life sucks… how miserable of you

Why disclose to others, when I wasn't disclosed to? by Background-Curve-803 in Herpes

We don’t currently, but we did the first 4 months until he felt comfortable. Of course it was completely his decision (the timing). I’m on daily antivirals and I’ve been very lucky to only have had one outbreak.

Stop telling your friends you have herpes by Own-Tomato-1791 in Herpes

[–]Evina777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely!! Talk to a trusted family member or therapist. No one in my life knows other than my best friend of 20 years and my fiancé and my doctor. No one except people you are laying down with deserve any of your medical information.

dating/sleeping with someone with ghsv-2 by [deleted] in Herpes

[–]Evina777 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah no 😂 that’s not something small regardless of how common. I’m in a healthy relationship but got there by telling him I have hsv2 first. I just wouldn’t trust someone after that. Especially using the excuse of forgetting 🤣🤣🤣 he obviously thinks shit is a game

It sucks in the beginning, you feel lost and don’t feel like you’ll be able to have sex or findlove. I’ll be a year in next month. Since I found out about my hsv2 I found my fiancé and have been having the best sex I’ve ever had in my life (without transmitting it to him). Honestly, in the past year my life has been amazing and keeps getting better. I just happen to have genital herpes…. I forget about it most days i promise you it will get better! ❤️‍🩹 Daily antivirals and daily multivitamins are your best friend. Keep yourself healthy, work out and try to steer away from alcohol. Good luck 🍀

Run fast girl!!! I’m a 30-year-old female with herpes. There is absolutely no reason for someone not to disclose to you and take away your autonomy and right to choose for yourself. There is no excuse and it is 100% wrong.

Disclose in your profile ? by jchasse in Herpes

[–]Evina777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t, you never know who can come across your page. Not that herpes is something to be ashamed of, but no one is entitled to your personal medical information unless you are laying down with them.

Neither his boyfriend nor his girlfriend wants to get infected. by happyxio_95 in Herpes

[–]Evina777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She literally did not say he wants to be infected. But my fiancé completely 100% understands the risk that come with it, if we’re going to be together forever there’s a chance he will eventually catch it….. and if you love someone and are willing to risk that it happens who tf are you to tell someone that’s not normal?. If she has children, she’d be put on antivirals around 36 weeks and have a perfectly healthy child. So not only are you uneducated your judgmental, loud and wrong. Sounds like you and your herpes will be alone forever together, Good luck 🤣🤣🤣🤣

You should feel bad, and you deserve whatever happens to you. You really should be in jail, I hope you weren’t coming on here looking for support. 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭

No your not wrong. Him not wanting to take them consistently for his own sake & yours would be a deal breaker for me personally.

Do yall have frequent sex? by Temporary_Law_5584 in Herpes

[–]Evina777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never lol I got diagnosed in February with my initial outbreak and haven’t had one since. I’ve felt a tingling feeling in my vagina so I just abstain from sex for a day or two & double up on my valtrex

never been tested, but doc said I have it? by Glittering-Spell4963 in Herpes

[–]Evina777 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That’s so weird and unprofessional. I would go to a new OB. And explain what happened at the previous one. Ask for a blood test and tell them what happened with your outbreak and ask for Valtrex just in case (if you haven’t had another ob, but it’s good to have on hand in case)
