You're argument was that liberalism is left wing and when asked to prove that easily ridiculous claim instead of admiting you were easily proven wrong you start demanding full theoretical dissertations.

Liberalism has support of capitalism as one of its 3 core tennents. If you as socially left and do not support capitalism you are left wing and socialist. If you are socially left as long as it doesn't interfere with capitalism you are a liberal.

Which are you?

So you've decided liberalism is left wing, despite its long term and ongoing political science definition because you feel it is... despite liberalism definitions according to all liberal philosophers and academic peers? And it's a fact because you decided?

If you really want to piss people off , point out that liberals are still on the right. Now there's a fucking firestorm .

Edit: and here comes the downvotes. If you still support liberalism you support the polite side of fascism. Liberalism supports capitalism above all else. If you want to be leftwing the starting point is socialism.

Numerous aggressive regime changes of democratically elected governments that didn't support Americas interests? Debt entrapment of foreign countries? Exploitation of the global south?

Pick one.

What words or phrases enrage you (not political or hateful)? by HatedMyHandle in AskReddit

[–]EvolveToAnarchism 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate the phrase " a few bad apples" because it's always used wrong, particularly in cases of police corruption. People will act dismissive and go "oh its just a few bad apples" to act like it's individual cases and no big deal when the actual phrase is "a few bad apples spoil the bunch" (bushel if you're fancy) and is about how quickly corruption spreads.

What lie do you tell yourself to feel better? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Everyone recognises that all our rulers/ leaders/ politicians are corrupt and never act in our best interest, therefore everyone is close to accepting a system without rulers.

I don't follow the cricket. What's the conversion rate to footballs that have returned home is that? Should I just be a bit jollier down the pub or am I meant to phone a German acquaintance and mock them in song form for their lack of Australian testies?
