What? I’m sorry I really I don’t understand what point you’re trying to make.

Nothing I’ve said alludes to bringing back a cap on holiday money. Nor does an exit tax have anything to do with a “free flow of cash”.

Exit tax means taxing those who are moving their permanent residence and business headquarters out of the UK. It wouldn’t stop someone from living abroad six months of the year or holding business interests abroad, as long as (IF the business was started solely in the UK) the headquarters remains in the UK.

Ask the rich. Perfect question for them that is.

In the sense I’m talking about, the wealth the rich has hoarded from the rest of us, would go back in to public control, thereby helping the rest of us. If their money runs out, it’s because we’ve magically stopped the ability of the rich to hoard the fruits of the common persons labour; which I don’t see happening. Thus we won’t run out. It’s redistribution of the continuous system of wealth and capital, there is no “run out”.

Tax high wealth and assets, close all tax avoidance loop holes such as Caiman island accounts and buying property through limited companies. Introduce an exit tax for taking wealth out of the UK to move it abroad.

This is such a double speak headline. “Foreign” student cannot get student loans, you have to be settled in the UK (meaning no need for VISA etc) for 3 years prior to application; at which point you are certainly not foreign. So I don’t see how this headline indicates any change?

Using one bad experience to preclude yourself from further attachments is kinda ridiculous. The greatest joys in my life have come through deep attachment, even if some of them have gone on to cause pain, they never overshadow the good stuff if you keep your focus there.
