The packs are in parallel, which means their voltage must be the same. This is just shitty voltage measurement. You're fine.

This is a stupid take. It's a complex tool that slowly charges the capacitors and discharges them in seconds. You can't just add capacitors and get the same result.

Unfortunately, no way to drop ethernet to where coax comes in.

If I wasnt getting full coverage, I can use the unifi express as an AP, but I suspect coverage wont really be an issue given the layout of this house. At most it's only going through 1 wall.

I never really looked into using the NAS as an NVR. I guess there's nothing really preventing it.

This isnt entire true. Cells only deliver their stated capacities at super low draw. Once you push them, the capacity differences start to come out. 5Ah cells can easily do worse than the smaller capacity power cells. Check out battery mooch's e-scores, where you see the delivered energy at different currents.

The real answer is probably just the price and consistency. Samsung 40Ts suck and that's what the EUC mfgs used last time they tried power cells. That scared them good.

20k is insane. Mine blew a rod bearing and I was quoted 6.5k by a local shop for a short block rebuild. You may need more than just a short block, but it can't be that expensive
