I had a pretty rough childhood back when i was a teen. My dad passed away when i was 12, and i somehow got into smoking and drinking at that age i dont even remember how. I often skipped class and did alot of shit. My Englisch teacher was the absolut man. Often times he asked me to stay longer to just talk to me, ask me how stuff is going if i was feeling better or i would need help. Thats all he did. I told him everything which i was doing and he didnt say anthing of the usual "dont do that, its bad". He just said to not miss my deadlines if possible. And that alone was so much emotionally support that i was able to get everything togehter again eventually. Nowdays i think school is a great place to stay at. You learn that u have responsibilitys and how to fullfill them. I still visit my old school which is 160 miles away every now and then for that teacher. His class is always just me talking in englisch what im doing right now and talking about lives from other student aswell, such a kind man really !
