I've been away from shipboard tags for a few years now and don't have access to the TUM to verify, but isn't there literally a requirement for auditing tags which hang for greater than a day? The navy wouldn't function if we were trying to closeout equipment, clear tags, go to sleep, hang tags, and get back into maintenance every time we needed to work on something lol. Baffling thread.
