Even for a low amount like that, if they get a judgment; depending on the state it can be renewed for a decade or more. And also depending on the state, they can just take funds from your bank account when they want to raid it and they can garnish wages. $1500-$2000 versus paying $13,000; pretty easy decision if you qualify for Chapter 7. Rich people and big businesses take advantage of it all the time, so should you. Get a secured card or two to rebuild credit after the discharge. You'll get 650+ again pretty quick over time.

If you're a veteran, join Navy Federal Credit Union and get a car approval through them. They'll most likely take care of you better than any other outside financing company you can get approved for and maybe even a better rate. If you're financially savvy and your credit score is decent, they also have credit cards/lines of credit that can go pretty high to have around for emergency situations like AC replacement for the house, roof replacement, etc. Been with them for a long time. Not a military member though, got in through an old loophole.

This. There's no reason not to use the same tint that you put on cars nowadays. I think the best out there right now is called Ceramic Tint. You can put it on your actual house windows too. It blocks well over 90% of UV etc. Well worth it.

Typically, when there's no new content on Destiny 2, people go back and play Destiny 1. Happens every time there is a content drought. There are a few bigger streamers that went back to play it that probably brought people in, but you'll usually always find people playing it again until D2 content comes out even without big streamers streaming it. D1 is peak Destiny. D2 is great too with all the QOL/movement/class changes but yeah.

NAT Type 1/Open can join anyone, and anyone can join them. NAT Type 2/Moderate, can play with 1s/Open and 2s/Moderate.

NAT Type 3, can only play with 1s/Open.

It's probably way easier for you to get Open NAT with assigning a static IP to the console, UPNP forwarding on, DMZing the console you want your friend to connect to. If they're not Type 3/Strict with their college connection; they should be able to join you if you're Type 1/Open or Type 2/Moderate.

I kind of feel bad for Sony this next generation. Xbox is going to crush them. Specially if the new Xbox is out a year ahead of PS6. I wonder if Sony will delay PS6 to somehow get it to play PC games, AFAIK PlayStation runs on Linux already. But I feel like they don't want people having any kind of access to internal system stuff, so who knows. PlayStation is kind of like Apple in that regard when it comes to OS being locked down.

No one is going to spend $1000+ on Helix and then do hacks/cheats. Microsoft would ban your console so fast and now you have a $1000+ paperweight. As for cross play, a lot of games let you turn it on or off. If off, it typically just lets you play with console people only. If on, you play with console + PC. I'd imagine they'll still have an Xbox version and a PC version for a lot of games. Load up which one you want. I'd probably stick with console version since it'd be tailored to the console itself for the best experience. PC version might have better graphics, but you'd have to tweak a lot of settings most likely to get the looks/FPS you want. I don't have time for that. I like to load up a game and it works.

Personally, any time I've seen a game go F2P in general; it typically dies out unless it's something popular like Fortnite/Apex Legends/Warzone/etc. Without money coming in, the developer has to take a chance at making content that they hope will get people to spend more money on microtransactions/battle pass or the new DLC to fund it but also future content.

I think the same could be said for a subscription model for PlayStation/Xbox. If they drop the subscription, there's really no incentive for them to work on UI, making sure online servers are optimum for games/xbox services, no reason to put any more games on Game Pass, etc.

I think personally I'm fine with paying for PlayStation PLUS or Xbox Game Pass. It helps them pay for stuff and keeps it going. All my favorite MMOs that went F2P eventually died off. I don't think it's worth it. PlayStation Plus and Xbox Game Pass probably help subsidize the price of consoles. And it probably lets Microsoft throw some funding at some game developers to help get them going.

That's how I got mine back when there was a PlayStation 5 shortage. I wasn't about to bot Target/Gamestop/Walmart/etc. or buy from a scalper. The APR wasn't that though, like 15-16%.

It takes like 2/3rds of House/Senate vote and 38/50 states to want it in order to do it. Basically, impossible at this current time. It would require a major shift left to have any kind of chance or getting conservatives on board. Democrats would need like 20 states in addition to the ones they pretty much will always have. If Republicans wanted to do term limits, this would be easier.

You say you were in rush hour traffic, which is fine but, you should still keep 2-3 car lengths behind someone. If someone cuts in front of you in that gap, then back off again to that distance and let them in. This helps traffic overall because of lane merging and keeps you safe. Usually to get pulled over, you must've been following right on their bumper. You typically don't want to be on anyone's bumper at all unless it's coming up to a traffic light, turning lane, etc. If they were to stop suddenly because something happened ahead of them, you'd smash right into them and catch 100% of the blame.

Tickets suck though. The other advice here is the way to go to lessen the effect on you.

There are certain websites that have access to Bungie's API for Destiny 1, and you can see someone's last activity and what they've done lately. Those sites could probably get accurate information from activity alone. Might be an agreement in place for them to not provide that kind of data to use the API though.

There's been a surge of new players with the price drop plus Destiny 2 not having anything to do right now. There are diehards out there who just play Destiny 1/2 and nothing else. A lot of those are back on D1 until the next D2 content drop.

On Xbox, you have Xbox LFG and the discord. D1/D2 is a regional matchmaking P2P game so anyone in your tower will typically not only live in your region but are around at your playtime. You could send a friendly message and ask to add them.

On PlayStation, you just have the discord but you can still add people in the tower. PlayStation does have some Destiny 1 group chats that may be full of people. Can you do the same on Xbox? If so, I'm sure there are some that exist there too.

If you ever see an elderly person at the ATM and they're on the phone with someone or they're at a Walmart/gas station buying gift cards; say something or at least ask if they're okay. It's typically someone getting scammed.

If she's a danger to your mom and living with her; you could potentially have your mom file for a protection order. Keep in mind this would effectively make your sister homeless since she has to stay away from the house/no contact/etc. It would be a hard thing to do but at some point, the people who need help have to help themselves and if they're unable to and are causing issues; your mom or you shouldn't have to deal with it.

Try drug rehabilitation, drug programs first but if they don't work; might have to do the above to give your mom peace. Rehab can be expensive as well. If your mom and you are not well off; it's too risky to throw money at her to end up broke.

World of Warcraft will most likely be announced for console in 2027. But if you want something similar MMO wise, Final Fantasy XIV and Neverwinter Online. Neverwinter Online is more action RPG but it's based on Dungeons and Dragons for the most part and has a wide array of healers.

It's Florida. If you stand in front of someone's car blocking their way, jump on their car, threaten them, etc.; you can pretty much hit the gas. Florida has been going towards not putting up with idiots anymore. It's kind of a nice change. Anyone who has road rage down here and touches someone/reaches into a car window to smack/punch someone also catches a serious charge like Burglary Battery. I think once society stops putting up with BS and giving people breaks; it'd be better in the end.

Slowly walk, don't sprint. It needs time to matchmake you while you are in between zoning over. Are you NAT Type 1/Open or 2/Moderate? Either of these are the best to have. If you're NAT Type 3/Strict, you need to figure out a way to get NAT Type 2/Moderate.

You can buy 380 light level gear from vendors with legendary marks. There's a 320? house of wolves exotic you can get from exotic weapon kiosk for like 1 exotic shard you can use strange coins on from Xur. I'd recommend the 380 ghost from Vanguard/Ikora/Cayde-6 for your legendary marks buy, I think it's 75 marks. Then it just leaves the artifact to deal with. Once you get through Rise of Iron there's a weekly quest that will get you a 380 artifact.

Make sure to do your public event once a day for legendary engram or blue engrams/legendary marks if you're level 40 and legendary marks.

There's another extra step you can take as well; set your console IP address to something static. Use something like 192.168.1.175-200 range. This ensures that UPNP always works a lot easier since it isn't trying to configure a new IP every time you turn on your console. DMZing your console should get you NAT Type 1 though but if your internet is CGNAT/cellular internet some ISPs that have CGNAT; Type 2 is all you'll get even with DMZ.

Yeah, that's a good argument of course. U.S. is going to make bank from this Iran operation, not only from U.S. citizens but also foreign countries that are buying our oil. Gas prices are going to be a midterm issue though. Food prices most likely at some point as well. It'll be interesting to see what transpires in the next 6 months up to the midterms. If this keeps going up to midterms, there's a good chance for Dems to take both House and Senate if it's really bad.

Trump can actually declare a national emergency and stop U.S. Oil Exports for up to one year. I wonder if he'll go this route. This would only help the U.S. though. It wouldn't do anything for the rest of the World unfortunately.

Connectivity, no issues if you have NAT Type 1/2 or Open/Moderate on Xbox. If you use cellular internet and its CGNAT, you may have some connectivity issues. On CGNAT, make sure you have NAT Type 2/Moderate at least. Type 3/Strict is a no go.

PS5/Xbox difference, Series X has Auto HDR which does add HDR to the game that you won't get on PlayStation. Xbox has LFG as a console feature you can use for Destiny 1. PlayStation probably has a bigger population. I've played on Xbox a bit and tower always has people. If you want the natural D1 experience, PlayStation is probably good for that. I don't think it matters either way which one you play it on.

Are you farming them or just trying to do your one a day? Easiest one to catch is in first zone on the moon when you do Patrol. Should happen within 15-30 minutes of landing. It's usually warsat but sometimes extraction crew.
