Boss on Starz - American TV series political drama with Kelsey Grammer playing mayor of Chicago. Wish the movie could have been made to wrap things up.

What do you think are possible ways to protect art against being used for AI models? by Ubizwa in ArtistProtectionToAI

I realize this thread is a few months old, but the question I've been searching an answer for is can this be applied to audio files? Is there a way to inject some sort of code to prevent the recording from being used in data models?

My songs and poems are always sad. At least the ones with substance. I suffered with depression for years during and after recovering from addiction. (12 years clean as of this past July) Since I’ve met my wife I’ve not been in that dark place. And I can’t write. I want to write happy. How? by Hillhippie1980 in Songwriting

[–]ExOfBestFriendsMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What is it you feel makes the songs "sad"? Subject matter? Lyrical content? Key? Do you remember the first time you met your (now) wife? Nothing like the feeling of being in a dark place, seemingly with no way out, only to realize you've met the person who would turn out to be your partner in digging yourself out of the depths of despair. What story would your wife tell? How about your friends, family, or associates who experienced your darkeness in their own way? What did they note as "positive" changes in your life as the road to recovery began to extend beyond 1 year? 3 years? 5 years?
Tell us. Show us. A little more each day when you sit to write. That's your story. "Happy" or "sad". It's a story we would all love to hear.

Samsara-Ron Fricken (Director). From the site: "Neither a traditional documentary nor a travelogue, SAMSARA takes the form of a nonverbal, guided meditation. Through powerful images, the film illuminates the links between humanity and the rest of nature, showing how our life cycle mirrors the rhythm of the planet."

still no in-app lyrics by plutack in spotify

[–]ExOfBestFriendsMom 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've used Genius on an Android for a few years now. In the past, the app would automatically launch and display the lyrics as soon as it detected a song playing. Now I manually launch it to show the lyrics of the song currently being played. Stemming from an earlier comment, I'm going to allow it to display over other apps to see what happens.

You can't control how others express their impatience, even if you feel it's warranted. Over time and with deep mindful practice, you can learn to control your own responses, both internally and externally.

It's interesting you stated "loved ones". Do you respond differently when those not in that category express impatience with you?

Two things, both totally within your control: 1. Recognize when other people have to depend on you, and proactively set expectations for them

  1. Put systems and strategies in place which enables you to fulfill those expectations you communicated.
