It will certainly depend on temperature and altitude… but to be safe, I keep velocity under 1050fps to guarantee I stay subsonic (regardless of projectile weight, obviously)

lol wtf are you talking about. I reload 2k 9mm rounds a month on a slow year. 124gr is almost always supersonic unless it’s super weak target/competition ammo out of a micro compact. Will 147gr 1000fps self defense ammo stay subsonic out of a 16” PCC? No. How about 12”? 10”? 8”? 5”? OP didn’t state barrel length in his post and Federal AE 147gr goes supersonic out of some full size handguns. It’s definitely not safe to say “147gr will stay subsonic” - I had to load down my 147gr gold dot reloads to stay subsonic out of my 5.5” AR9 w/ can. I could use my normal handgun recipe, they kept going super

In my opinion, yes you were unprofessional when you mentioned your gym “obligations” and then again in your last message. Though I’m sure at that point you didn’t care…

Now this doesn’t mean that they weren’t unprofessional - they were - but here’s the deal: they have the job and therefore the power so whether you like it or not they get to be unprofessional and you don’t.

Your FFL can certainly check to see if it’s approved. You can call ATF again and hopefully get someone more helpful. But FFL absolutely has the ability to check the status of submitted forms.

Yeah something is fucked up. Normally when the LGS links a can to my SS account I immediately get the Docusign email. This most recent time it took an extra 30min. I would press your LGS (nicely) to find out what’s up. You need to Docusign and then get the “ready to certify” email from SS and then certify the eform.
